We vacation in Lake George for a week every year and get breakfast here everyday. The food is delicious and service is fantastic. A true mom and pop place feels like eating at home.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I breakfast out on occasions though it is also my favorite meal to prepare from base ingredients. And I've cooked enough morning meals to develop a preference for my own preparations over any restaurant's. Despite this, I'd rather breakfast at Evergreen from here on out and not cook another meal or go any where else again. Don't be fooled by the very simple menu with simple dishes. The food was fantastic! My taste buds did a jig. I didn't want to leave. My Russian-born wife wanted to annex the place she loved it so much. And she's not a breakfast person like me. Great service, but watch out, no AC. A group of five came in the restaurant, sat for 5 or 10 minutes, and then left because of the 4th of July heat. They missed out on the best breakfast ever. If you just want to fill your belly, then go somewhere more comfortable temperature-wise. But if you want to really enjoy a really good breakfast, then this is the place.
Stumbled upon this place as we were getting massages from across the street. It is definitely a mom and pop kind of place and as someone said previously a “gem”. It’s a hometown, locals place that has great staff and yummy breakfast. The home fries were so crispy and tasted delicious! Would definitely go back and have breakfast there.
A great diner for breakfast. I have driven by this spot many times and finally made it for breakfast. Tiny spot that is very popular with the locals. Prices are reasonable and staff was very friendly. The food was fantastic and not greasy. Highly recommended but be aware I could see this place filling up quickly since the seating is limited.
Nice little place. Staff wasn't the friendliest, but not rude either. The food was just like home and the pricing was acceptable. My biggest complaint was waiting in the doorway without any acknowledgement from the staff. A simple "just a few moments" or something would have been appreciated.
Great place for breakfast . The kitchen is quick and they don't rush you after getting your food. It's also reasonably priced, which is hard to find in the Lake George area.
The perfect weekend diner. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. There aren't many options during the winter in Lake George, but Evergreen would be a top option any time of year.
