Denny's

Love this Denny’s! The vintage decor is so cool, and I love the celebrities statues! We went here right before the nationwide quarantine, and I was disappointed about gum being stuck under the table that my 2 year was obsessed with, I made a comment to the waitress and she promptly moved us to a different table after. I felt like she went above and beyond because she didn’t ignore or dismiss my concern, customer service was great! i

I wish I could've given it 3 1/2 stars. It's Dennys so I expected slow service but there was only 2 other families and it was still slow going. Food was great however, and staff was friendly. Cute old school theme, kid friendly and reasonably to similarly priced compared to other breakfast places in the area.

The waitress was beyond amazing, loved her to death! Food was sooo good, I had a chicken strip meal and my wife had a T-bone steak and eggs and oh my was that food awesome or what! We chose here because many years ago while visiting the Dells as kids my grandma took us there to eat and made some good memories with the statues outside and the neat style inside the restaurant, as she is no longer with us we made it a point to relive some of those memories we made with her and this place was definitely not a let down.

Denny’s is always busy. The menu is currently limited. The waitresses are doing a great job and they are always pleasant. The food is good, but not great. My son really loves their French fries. I would recommend breakfast over lunch Update: April 2,3022. Regular menu is back! We have a tendency to go between 7-9am. It’s not very busy and the service is not as hurried. The staff are always nice and courteous.

The food is great. It usually is. (ie: "perfect" over easy eggs & great coffee). AARP discount helped me leave a bigger tip! Because my greatest compliment is for management & staff. Quite extraordinary during these times to find such a well run diner in a tourist town where virtually everybody is in hotels & has to eat out. Seasoned experienced mature servers juggling very busy Sat AM breakfast rush. I asked about the worker shortage & our server said "That's why the manager is taking some tables & still helping everyone else"! A working manager?! "Helping" everyone!?Everyone was multi tasking everywhere with competence & confidence & STILL were able to be friendly & pleasant. Highly recommend this "Denny's in The Dells". It is one of "Retro" looking ones with a "Fifties" motif; aluminum siding, nice decor.

This Denny's Diner was great for a late breakfast or early lunch for breakfast food. Most of the customers were over 50. There was only one waitress. One young couple asked if they were open 24 hours. The waitress laughed and said they do not even have enough employees to cover 2 shifts! The service was prompt, the restaurant and restroom was mostly clean, the breakfast food was cooked well. We hope that they get the employees that they need to succeed!
