First time visits are always your most impressionable. If you are looking for a place for a relaxing Sunday brunch, then Chart House could be the place you’re looking for. We were a little earlier for our reservations, but the staff seated us upon arrival. The weather was spectacular, and we chose outside seating. Great views, so I don't think you could go wrong with seating Inside or out. (It is important to remember that all businesses are short staffed because people just have not returned to work. So, I think it is so important not to include criticism about wait times for any service when writing reviews currently). We were greeted from the moment we arrived: Golf pro at the front door, two hostesses as we entered and even from seated guest we didn't know spoke. Dress attire: Very Casual to Sunday best is appropriate. Menu Items and $$: (Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner menu items available for Brunch) I would consider the pricing on the Medium to High end depending on what you chose. We happened to be waiting for another couple, but our server greeted us and took our drink order. Mimosas are $5 and are just the right touch for a Brunch. My husband decided on the Bloody Mary Special $15, which was a meal -n-itself. Probably the best one he has ever had. A pastry basket was brought to our table, which was unexpected having never been before. It was filled with a variety of fresh homemade pastries. Management was greeting and visiting with every guest table. Everyone at our table ordered something different and we were not disappointed. (Burger, Chicken/Bacon Sandwich, and Seafood Omelet). The Chart House was a warm and inviting place to have Brunch in my own community that I was not aware of until now. It is located on the Golf Course at the Golden Nugget. Consider making reservations just in case.

Great surf and turf. I had the filet mignon with 1/2lb of Alaskan King Crab, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, and creamed spinach. My meal was excellent. The atmosphere is very nice, and the restaurant is classy. Edit. 2nd 5 star trip. This time I orderded the Sea Bass and it was amazing. The sea bass was topped with crab, shrimp and served over a bed of vegetable couscous. My date had the smoked prime rib meal, which came with a salad and mini chocolate lave cake. Very good meal with a nice view over the river and golf course. Add the fire and restaurant ambiance and this place equals a great dinner experience. Many 5 star trips.

The atmosphere was awesome, nice view, and a great place to watch an amazing sunset. Their happy hour was great as well! Be aware when ordering food off the happy hour food list: you pay 75% of the normal price but get 1/2 of the food, so I recommend you stick to the regular menu. Definately will be a regular though!

After reading the reviews, I had strong expectations for this restaurant. The restaurant has a decent selection of wines. The service was good as well. My redfish was decent - good flavor but slightly overcooked. My wife’s chargrilled oysters were extremely chewy and were inedible. The shrimp stack appetizer had an impressive presentation, but did not deliver on flavor.

Raw shrimp in our appetizer. Decent service. Expect more at this price. This bottle was a great value

Our server wasn't too friendly, but she did warm up at the end. We waited over an hour after ordering for brunch which was just a burger and eggs benedict. There were pastries on the table when we got there and I'm told those were really good. The rest of the food was not good and very overpriced. The eggs benedict had broken and was a watery & oily mess. I wouldn't expect to be served that even at a Denny's. The coffee was $4 and we didn't even get a refill. I'm willing to pay for good food, but what we paid for did not equate to what we got. :(

Chart House is a great spot for lunch if you stay at Golden Nugget or playing golf around the area. The restaurant has a nice view overlooking the golf course, the fireplace and the bricks looks chic and modern. We came here for brunch and it was very peaceful and calm. Mimosa was $3 for Sunday Brunch, what a deal! We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share, such as hummus, tacos, fruits etc. I ordered the mango, crab meat, avacado tower to start. Then, I ordered lobster rolls. Back home in Toronto, 1 lobster roll costs you around $21 to $25 and it's not big. At Chart House, one order gives you 3 good size lobster rolls. The lobster meat was generous for each one. And there was a difference, back home in Toronto, they served us with a toasty bread roll. At Charthouse, they served the lobster with fried bakes, which was a bit unique. I enjoyed it. Overall, I enjoyed the food and drink, excellent service, decor and atmosphere.
