The best burgers! We are from West Monroe La. My husband used to live in Lafayette. We have been several times and always the best service and burgers ever! Wish we had one in West Monroe!

Great burger cooked on an open flamed grill. This is the old fashioned Ground Pat'i. Some things are best left alone and this eatery is one of them. I'll be back.

My favorite burger place ever. Ever. The ton of shredded cheese on top is my favorite thing about the burgers. The grilled chicken sandwich with cheese is the best thing on the menu though! Love this place!
Tony's for my Fries. I love Tony's on my French fries and they have Tony's on the Table. Burger are good too. They put shredded cheddar on top of the cheese burger. The ribeye sandwich according to my brother is the best thing on the menu he loves it so much he won't order anything else.
Great Burger!!!. Love the ORIGINAL Ground Pat'i! The restaurant could use some serious spring cleaning...but then again, some of the best food comes from a little "hole in the wall"...older...classic restaurants. Certainly my favorite burger joint!

Original is the best.... Great burger & their salads are also pretty darned good too. There is another location but the original is just better, maybe it is the grill?
ORIGINAL GROUND PATI. This upscale burger place has warm atmosphere and great burgers. The only original Ground Pati left!
Good burger, but dirty disgusting atmosphere. We had 3 servers sitting next to us talking about the best ways to break into homes and murder people. That was weird. But I still love the food.
Great Burgers. I love the original Ground Pati. This place bears no resemblance nor is it really related to the other place with the same name across town.
These are well grilled tasty, juicy burgers. Nothing like any other place around. Get the Ground Pati Sr with cheese. My wife loves the grilled catfish and baked potato.
It had been at least 40 years since I ate here! Loved it in the late 1970 & 1980’s!! Today, The burger was on point! Grill taste, buttered toasted buns, smallest is 1/4 lb, just right for a small burger with not a huge bun. Fries were perfectly fried and seasoned.
Problem with smell…of restaurant, musky, old grease, grim. Vents are very dirty near ceiling, bricks on wall were dark and appeared dirty near floor. The kitchen is open so public can watch. I’m not a fan. Seems like all the smell from kitchen flows into dining area. A good cleaning will make this a 5 star review.
The fried catfish fillets were battered and fried to perfection! Seasoned just right. Enjoyed the onion rings. The entire meal is at a good price point. Definitely will return soon!
I've been coming here for years, bnecause I love the atmosphere and the comfort food. Today, I went in for the first time in a while, and WOW! It's like an owner and manager who actually know what they're doing took over! Wonderful service. They've improved the seating and the menues, and added monthly specials. They did a much better job with the already delicious food. And the presentation was even impressive.
Only constructive criticism I would add is, I'd like a drink menu.
Also, I miss those really weird paintings that used to be in there ...but that's just me.
Visited for lunch for the first time at this location. We were greeted promptly and were told we could sit anywhere of our choosing. As they do with all customers, we were given a little container of whole roasted peanuts to snack on while waiting for our meal to come out. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Me and my wife ordered onion rings for an appetizer which were very good with the sauce that came with them. Burgers are the main attraction here so no surprise on what we ordered. Our burgers were cooked to our liking and served with fresh crispy fries. I recommend this place for a good burger and will be returning.
Sign of the times. Haven't eaten here in about a year, the location isn't as convenient as it used to be. While they have renovated, everything else has downsized. Got my usual grilled chicken with cheese. The chicken is half the size and you couldn't find the cheese. Back in day the chicken hung over the bun and you had enough cheese for two sandwiches and your fries. Today the fries were burnt to crisp. A shame to good restaurant.
Update. Much better, portions and quality. Server, Mallory was superb.
Food was average, but good burger place. Bathroom could use a cleaning.
