Every single bite was exquisite. Three of us shared the fried cheese beignets, , jamaican jerk chicken wings and bacon & blue salad to start. I had filet mignon with mashed potato and asparagus, my boyfriend the burger (he was craving a burger and after much deliberation decided to stick with his original choice). The burger was perfect. The filet cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes literally melted in my mouth. Had it not been a celebratory dinner we might never had tried the creme brulee - hands down best I've ever had. Service was attentive and friendly and not at all intrusive. Great beer and wine selection.
We had a fabulous dinner Sunday evening. The salmon was to die for. The oysters on the half shell were so fresh and our server was amazing and very knowledgeable of the menu. I would recommend this to all and everyone. I can't wait to return.
We had the most amazing experience last evening. The Local Eatery did not disappoint. I had the small beet salad (which was a very generous size), followed by the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon with a maple glaze. Not only would I say the food was superb, I’d give the service the highest rating possible. My best friend and I often purchase gift cards for the Local for Christmas and birthdays (for each other). I look forward to my next amazing experience at the Local Eatery!
Great local farm to table eatery. Good beer and wine options. Great gluten free GF options. Steaks are good, meat is good, specials are good. Convenient to the lakes region, Lake Winnipesaukee, Meredith, Church Landing, Mill Falls, Alton Bay, and great hotels. Treat yourself to a nice night out in the beautiful refurbished Laconia train station with nice outdoor patio dining. Good desserts. Exhaustive cocktail list. Fantastic salads, fresh vegetables, beets, and other options.
Service was great and food was delish. Pork chop with cabbage was savory and hardy. Salad was healthy and beautiful. Couldn't ask for any better!
The best food and drinks I’ve ever had! Between an ice cold mule, perfectly cooked shrimp and grits and a mouth-watering patty melt, I will definitely be coming back. The waitstaff was extremely friendly, fast and attentive. This place is a must!
Wonderful homemade food, great staff, great service. Baked goods, sandwiches, soup and salads all top notch. Open only for breakfast and lunch -- until 3pm. Not open Sunday. Highly recommended!
Fantastic entrees and even better desserts. In a beautiful old train Depot. Small but quaint. Could use a little bit of high dusting but it is a very very old building.
We were not able to get a reservation so we ordered take out. Their menu changes frequently because they source food locally. The mushroom flatbread and roasted beet salad were delicious.
Enjoyed a great cocktail made with the locally distilled Dancing Rabbit Vodka. This place has one of the more creative approaches to culinary arts in the area. It’s a must eat!!!
