Daisies Cafe

Let me start by saying as soon as we walked in you could smell Mold and we should've left but didn't. So the waitress came to take our order brought our Orange Juice and it was warm then I ordered an omelet with home fries well done. Needless to say they weren't well done and they were sour. The waitress never came to see if we needed anything else. Oh and then you go to pay with a credit card only to be told it's CASH ONLY! So your forced to use the ATM machine there! No signs on the front door saying CASH ONLY! Never again!

I have eaten here several times, in fact, even joined a men's group of 25 or more for breakfast on a weekday. My complaint is not about the food or service. Today I stopped next door at a convenient store. Being a diabetic and taking a medication with a diuretic or water pill, I needed to go to the restroom. I walked into Daisies and was greeted rather abruptly by a young lady. I continued to the restroom and on my way out about two minutes later was again approached by the same person. She rudely informed me that I owed them a purchase because I used the restroom. No, I did not see any signs and besides, I was a customer! I had a choice of purchasing a cookie for a dollar or pay more for a Danish but being diabetic neither was a good choice. I put a dollar on the counter and left. I felt belittled and of course, will never eat there again. I hope that dollar was worth the price of losing a customer and having this review about my rude treatment.

Okay!!! First waitress really acted like she didn't want us there..... How rude of us to walkin an empty restaurant with 13 people to spend our money.... Second refills,, what's a refill??? Third my dad was happy with the food and stated maybe we will be back next week and her response was " not without a reservation"!!! now if that was not enough, while we were still eating they started vacuuming the rugs!!!! Really ??

That's my Saturday breakfast place.The conservative roundtable breakfast takes place here between 7am to 930am every Saturday. Hence if you are into community activisms you, want to get into community activisms or want to volunteer on a political campaign, Daisies is the place to be on Saturday morning.
