Hops N Drops

Just giving Andrew D a shout out for being a great server today! I am still drooling over my Cajun shrimp tacos which were all delicious! However my husband was not a big fan of his fish tacos, as on the menu it doesn’t state that they are fried. Typically they are grilled so he is a bit disappointed but it’s all good we live and learn! Over all it is a nice place! Thank you for having us!

Recently placed an order for pick up for my wife and I. When I arrived the waitress not sure of her name, she was dressed in all black and black hair and cat eye make up in black, came out to my vehicle like she was supposed to. I rolled down my window happy to great her and she seemed instantly annoyed that I was there disturbing her. I gave her my name and she brought out my food and drink. I took the food and drink from her and said thank you very much and she just turned and walked away. I figured she was just having a bad day. So I left. When I got home only have of my 90.00 order was in the bag. Now I’m mad because I spent the money had rude service and now my food is missing. I hop in the car and drive back to the hops and drops and same girl is there. She doesn’t say a thing to me. I ask the speak to the manager. I forget his name but he was very nice. I explain that I came here to pick up my order about 16 minutes ago. He said oh what was the name Shane right. Oh it’s right here. Here you go. So now I got my food and now the waitress apologizes. It’s obvious at this point that nothing is going to be done to rectify the situation besides hand me my food. So I leave. No compensation for having to make two trips for a 90.00 order. We frequent here often but after tonight’s experience I think we will find a new establishment that can be polite and get our order right the first time. Only reason two starts for tonight’s service is because the manager did apologize and at least got me the rest of my food.

Haven’t been at this location for a couple of years, only because it’s rather far of a drive, delicious food and amazing service. Hop n Drops have one of the best Bloody Mary’s, sorry no photo on the drink, spicy and delicious! Salads are fresh, the pork tips were amazing even without the sauce. We did get the Queso dip but my family looked at it and it was gone, I only got one chip worth. Dropped my keys at the table and they cleared the table of the new guests to help find my keys.

If you haven't had the Kyle's Damn Good Sandwich, do so. It's the only turkey I've ever wanted more of. The fries are perfect for me. Just the right amount of crispy and soft with flavor. Their on tap variety is broad, and the Drops had just the right flavor to make you forget how much alcohol is in them. Add to all that friendly (but not too friendly) service, and the new remodel, to create a great dine in experience on a date. And in the evening a great place for a drink at the bar.

I love this place! The food is good and they have their own brewery beer which is delicious if you like beer. If you are looking some something less heavy Ty their selection of cocktails and their great variety. Literally their bartender can make whatever special drink you like even if it’s not in the menu.
