What a treat. A vendor took me to this amazing place. I’m hooked. The mature waitress was so engaging. They were busy for weekday lunch, but she was willing to help us assemble the most amazing tasting menu the table shared. Again, great food!

Excellent brunch outing with my sister and son. I enjoyed poached eggs and my son had a peanut butter French toast. Quiet but got busy fairly quickly. Mimosas and grapefruit juice was fresh. Would go again. Excellent service and atmosphere.

We finally tried Chula Artisnal Eatery after seeing it on Guy Fieri's DDD. It's homey and eclectic interior provides a great atmosphere for eating. I had the single order of brioche toast, which came with an unnecessary side of maple syrup IMO as it was topped with a delicious cinnamon whipped cream and charred strawberry jam. It was moist and a single order was quite filling. My wife had the Chula fritters and fried green tomatoes. I had bites of each and they were both delicious. We also received a small serving of homemade chips and salsa and it was also delicious. They told us when we said we want to bring friends to call for availability. The service was excellent and so was the Joshua Tree coffee.

Our number one pick for a breakfast or lunch experience in La Quinta. You must work to find this gem; it does not face directly on Washington rather it is behind Louise’s’. First and foremost, the food is amazing as in so good it defies an easy comparison. It has a depth of quality and flavor I seldom associate with a breakfast/lunch restaurant. We learned that it is indeed chef driven, and it shows. So, off the bat, don’t expect traditional fare. The food and service are at another level. And it is a very good level. The coffee is great. They have a local roaster brand. The quality is outstanding. They serve cream, heated on the side. They do custom coffees, of course they do. We had the Heavenly Hollandaise Green Chile Biscuits, which is poached eggs, hollandaise on a green chile biscuit. Yeah, great, and on a bed of greens. Also tried the Brioche French Toast, a sweet delight. Fresh strawberries on the day we were there. By the way they have homemade strawberry jam that is amazing. Also tried the Green Chile Monte Cristo. Think of a Monte Cristo sandwich made on a quesadilla but then dipped in egg and deep fried. I liked it so much I will have it again. Served with applewood smoked bacon this is really a showstopper. The décor is unique and very comfortable. Odd matched furniture, soft couches, just welcoming. Lots of things to look at on the walls and very much an enjoyable experience. We found the service to be exceptional. It is not a 15 minute eat your eggs and leave. This is a restaurant, so expect a restaurant kind of experience. And it is not inexpensive. But then it is no cheap in quality or flavor. We have been three times and have averaged an hour or longer each time. I recommend it

You had me at Green Chile Monte Cristo! Green chile and bacon quesadilla beer battered and flash fried to a crispy crunch and served with strawberry jam for dipping and a side salad to help you feel better about yourself. The iced tea here is really special. It's spiced with cinnamon and orange. I highly recommend it. Plus it's refillable which is an added plus. You can also get it Arnold Palmer style mixed with their limonada. We had a large party of 15 and they were short staffed, but they were still able to seat us and provide great service and amazing farm to table Mexican food and classic favorites with a Mexican twist. Outdoor seating out front is an option and they have nice misters going to help with the heat. There are lots of gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options here as well so it is a great place to go if you have dietary restrictions.

Excellent fresh tasty dishes. Chile relleno and huevos rancheros were both delicious. Super cute atmosphere. Service was slow, but we got there early on a Saturday morning and the single server was doing her best to cover the crowd. She finally got some help about 30 minutes later, which helped significantly.
