Great service and food. A busy place and I totally understand why. Food is so amazing.
Service is super fast and the drinks are great (both in sizes and taste). The only thing I would love to see is an "in house" hot sauce for tacos, burrito r and more. (Rocha or green.)
After living in the desert more than half of my life and trying most of the Mexican restaurants I found yet another favorite. I came with my family and sat in the back patio which this place has ample seating in the front patio, inside (not available during covid restrictions) and the rear patio. I like the decor. The food is very authentic and very flavorful, when the place can serve the most traditional flavors and remind me of Mexico then it's a win and keeper for me. The service was great; everyone was very attentive and the prices are reasonable. I will be coming back to try the many options they have.
Very fun spot in La Quinta ! The drinks where great .It was very busy and the service was very good the server's where friendly and attentive. I was part of a big party and they took care of us no problem. It was a great experience.
Definitely our favorite Mexican spot in the desert. Usually a little bit of a wait, but well worth it. The food is excellent and the portions are large. The ceviche, fajitas and mahi mahi In garlic are our favorite here. Enchiladas are really good too. Fresh and delicious. Don’t forget the margaritas. Even the small is big.
Came here for my sisters birthday we where in a group of 9 , they where quick with our meals and very nice. Attending all our needs without disappointment. The bathrooms where very clean and well mannered hostess , felt very welcomed. They have excellent alcoholic beverages! Over all a great atmosphere to enjoy with friends and family !
Had the nachos with chicken and food was great, service was good but the only reason that I gave it a 4 is that we ate at 3:00 pm and it was extremely warm inside which made it uncomfortable. We were there on Monday June 6th.
Casa Mendoza was authentic and delicious 😋 Abiud was a great waiter and was a nice conversationalist. Would highly recommend and we will be coming back 💯

Casa Mendoza, located in Old Town La Quinta, is a decent Mexican food restaurant. The place has all the right feels of a well run restaurant, and the right pop of "authentic" Mexican food. The interior is as colorful as the staff, who were cheery and fast.
The waitress was accommodating with my order's substitution and preferences.
Didn't order any alcohol, but the drinks that were served to other tables had me in regret.
The food was fast, good and well prepared.
I highly recommend Casa Mendoza for authentic Mexican food in La Quinta! The ambiance is great and service is usually pretty outstanding (Manny, Luisa, Ramiro and the hostesses and bussers all are fantastic people).
The alambre traditional is my favorite dish. It’s like fajitas with carne asada, bacon, chorizo and melted cheese. Also, my go-to favorites are the cheese enchilada with red sauce and shredded beef tacos.
Unfortunately the happy hour is on hold, however even at full price make sure to try their margaritas and chavelas. Gracias Casa Mendoza, nos vemos otra vez!
