Visiting my hometown of Imperial Beach always provides an opportunity to reminisce with old favorite eateries and find new ones. Panaderia Gonzalez is a hidden gem. It's not too hard to find, but it is in a strip mall. I went early in the morning to get fresh pan dulce and I was not disappointed. There's quite a variety and there was my favorite - puercos !
If you are a local, consider yourself lucky to have such an excellent panaderia you can frequent for fresh pan dulce - deliscioso!!!

I like to come here early in the AM for freshly made Pan Dulce and filled Birote.
And it's even more convenient now because you're able to pick your own bread from the shelves.👍👍

FRESH & DELICIOUS bread made daily on site. Best DELICIOUS FRESHLY made Roscas (worth the wait in line to buy them). My go to bakery for pan Dulce.

Have to say five ⭐ for their great bread, awesome pan dulce, not over priced at all. Everyone is nice there.
A couple or one ⭐ for that one person that works there in the mornings. This young lady seems bothered every time customers come in. So grab your bread and get out!
