Loved THE LOT the chairs were great food dinner was super and popcorn chocolate yum to go with a super movie to boot
Not only is it the coolest movie theatre we've ever been to, it's about the coolest restaurant and bar we've been to in San Diego. LaJolla or Liberty Station.
What a fantastic time we had here!!! We were recommended this place by another local restaurant who was unable to accommodate our large group. Not only did they give us a private patio, equipped with heaters and fire pits, but they also had several wonderful waiters to help us with our every need! Service was spot on and food was great 👍 we will definitely be visiting here again in our future travels. What a way to end a beautiful visit to San Diego 😍
I adore this place! It is pricey but it's worth it! The seats are SO comfortable- they recline back. I think its good to know that they will validate the parking ticket. They have all sorts of food available (spinach and artichoke dip, pretzel bites) and you can order in the theatre at your seat with a by pressing a button.
Excellent breakfast, excellent ambiance & excellent service. (A well deserved 5 stars). I would highly recommend trying their Smashed Avocado Toast with Scrambled Eggs. And what I really liked about this order was the toast which was toasted to perfection with butter. In addition, try their Caramel Latte.
Comfortable recliners…you can order food/snacks/drinks inside the movie theater. Large popcorn actually looked like a medium size. Discounted movie rate on Wednesdays
Had the best time Sunday morning after a run. Initially, it was going to be public house, but did not realize they are not dog friendly. Walked over to the lot and had great drinks and our bartender was the best. I believe his name is Alexander and will be going back just because of our fantastic experience.
Yesterday my office had a celebratory lunch at The LOT and it did not disappoint. The food was really good and so was the ambiance. I also enjoyed the convenient parking with a validation option. Definitely will be coming back! -Justice Rodgers

We had our company holiday party at the LOT la Jolla and it turned out great. The food was good and space was nicely set up. It would have been nice to have a little more direction with the food though when planning, we ended up not having enough and ordering more than expected. The open bar was decent as well with strong drinks and friendly staff.
Food was pricey for a casual place, like a $19 wedge salad and $17 soup. Service could have been a little quicker -- the bartenders had to do everything.

New review: We came here today to watch movie Babylon, because this theater has the best seats and dining in experience. We really enjoyed their comfortable seats, they are perfect for a long movie. They also provide brunch menu before 1pm. I had a pancake, which is not really delicious, but I still enjoyed with my movie. I also had a matcha tea latte, I loved that.
Updated: A great place to fully enjoy a movie! We went to several luxury cinemas and this is definitely one of the tops. They have a cute coffee shop & bakery and a nice bar & restaurant, so no matter what time you want to enjoy the movie, you have nice choices to go with your movie. We watched The Good Boss today, and it was such a fun movie. The language is Spanish, but we can understand very well about the movie from subtitles. The stores line is so interesting. We enjoyed. Plus I loved my green tea and my husband loved his beer.
Previous: Sunday dinner with friends at The Lot. We ordered some appetizers to share, guacamole, truffle fries, shishito peppers, and fried calamari. My favorite are the fried calamari and shishito peppers. We also ordered the flatbread and cheese burger. They are fine, but not very impressive. We also had some cocktails. Our favorite is the aperol spritz. My rum punch tasted like a juice, I don’t really feel alcohol in it. But overall, I like the atmosphere and the big open space there.
