Herringbone La Jolla - La Jolla - Photo album

This is the best seafood I’ve had in San Diego so far. The ambience here is incredible. The building itself is an old auto body shop turned into a Tuscan seaport diner. The trees inside are real preserved olive trees. The service was excellent and the food was well worth the price. Make sure you swi
Loved the 100+ olive trees, the vibe and atmosphere at Herringbone is perfect for dates nights, family nights or just having a fun evening with friends. Great bar and cocktail menu. Though the wine list can be more extensive, found it limiting. Oysters and lobster rolls were fantastic, a couple vege
Great ambience. Technically extremely well prepared food. Delicious flavor. Great wine selection and service. Love the trees inside the restaurant and the lighting. Really nice atmosphere. Ordered the filet medium. Nice outer crust and tender medium cooked on the inside. The peppercorn sauce was sav
The atmosphere was so Fantastic, the food was so delicious. We ordered 10 dishes most of them are seafood. The seafood tower was great, never forget to order oysters. The waiter was very patient, helpful, and friendly. Can't complain about anything.
This place is awesome! Decor, food, vibe, and service are top notch. We had the seafood tower, lobster roll, and some drinks. The seafood is super fresh! The flavors were amazing. Highly recommend
5 stars for sure! I’ve been wanting to go here for years and finally made it! Made a reso on open table for the same night. Very cool vibe inside with eclectic mix of songs playing. Definitely on the expensive side for drinks but everything we had was delicious including the aperol spritz. Recommend
Wow the last time I was here was 2018 for their $1 oysters. Fast forward four years later and through a pandemic, happy to say that $1 oysters still exists! This place gets busy so we made reservations at 4pm which is also the time that they open. We sat outdoor because I had my dog with me. Very p
I rarely do we views, but I must say this restaurant definitely deserves it. I came for my birthday June 17th (1st time here) it was a great! decision. Everything was perfect the atmosphere, service, food and decor was beautiful 😍. Our waiter David was very accommodating with whatever we requeste
The food was amazing! A group of us decided to go here on a whim while looking for a restaurant for dinner. The seafood was amazing, especially the seafood tower and octopus. The desserts were also amazing and the coconut crème brûlée was the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had. The wait staff were f
Love the ambiance here, it’s fun and clever and comfortable. Their drink menu might be my favorite part. I like to go tapas style here, I love their appetizers and small plates. I am not a huge fan of their entrees. 4 stars only because I feel this place used to be better a few years ago, and it see
The atmosphere has almost a cabana style feel to it with occasional live music. Great natural lighting available from any angle for all your photo needs. The food is amazing I have ordered about half the items so far and have yet to be disappointed. There is food for non meat eaters available as wel
If you're having a wedding at the Cuvier Club and are looking for a location within walking distance for your rehearsal dinner try The Herringbone La Jolla. My son and his fiance at the time had wanted to try this place. As the mother of the groom and responsible for the dinner my main concern was
Came here for a wedding reception. 3 course meal plus chefs selection for dessert and it was excellent. The guacamole was the best I can remember. The shrimp were huge and well cooked (the cocktail sauce was bland, however). The Caesar salad was very good with a nice pungent flavor. They cooked my F
The restaurant feels like a fairy land. The ambiance is magical -- trees covered in twinkle lights are matched by bleached wood design and natural lighting, giving you the feeling of eating outdoors without actually being there. Then the food is delicious and magnificently plated
We had a hankering for oysters, so we stopped in for their "Oyster Hour." Only had a dozen and two Jaleberry cocktails (jalapeno/strawberry tequila), but we definitely enjoyed them and the overall atmosphere. Cool spot. Oysters were small, but seemed very fresh. Would definitely return to try an ent
