Burger King

I love BK! One particular dinner night (tonight) I was craving their new Whooper Melts, after persistently seeing their commercials. So, I ordered the Bacon Melt and was anticipating getting home to eat. We do check the bag for all our food before we leave the drive-thru, but we don't unwrap every sandwich and investigate it. So, we made it home and when I unwrapped my burger, my mouth dropped open with disappointment. I first noticed that the bun was a regular sesame seed bun, not the sourdough bun that I was looking forward to. And there was no bacon on it either. I basically received a dressed double whopper. Needless to say, I ate it, as I did not feel like driving back there at that moment. Afterall, I still enjoyed my sandwich, even though it was not what I ordered. I did, however, call them and let them know of their mistake. They took my name and told me I would have 30 days to come through and they will give me a Bacon Melt free of charge, of course. I appreciate that and look forward to picking it up tomorrow. And I will hold up the line a few seconds (more) to unwrap it and make sure it is the right sandwich. I guess I'll have to start going that far from now on. But as I said at the start, I love BK, and I still do!

The assistant general manager is one of the rudest people in restaurant management that I have had the displeasure of dealing with. I think he was upset I was using a coupon. Also I asked for a honey mustard & he made me give him back a sauce that was in the bag. Shut the drive thru window abruptly in my face when I asked for the sauce. All while being super friendly on my part. What a miserable old man.

Usually good is pretty good and other than not wiping off the drinks before handing them to you, I'd say it's ok (I only do the drive thru).. but a few weeks ago my son got a honey mustard that had small hairs in it and then I got one of their new tacos the other day and it was disgusting.. certainly not like the picture shows it's supposed to look like..
