China Star has been my family's long-time favorite Chinese restaurant in La Crosse. Their food is consistently tasty and their staff is always happy and helpful. The only sad part is that they have had to shrink the sizes of their carryout portions likely due to the economy. Unfortunately for us we live in Onalaska and they don't deliver to our location so we have to drive quite a distance to do our carryout. It's definitely worth it for their awesome chicken and Broccoli, chicken Teriyaki, fried rice, etc.

This is a great place to go for Chinese style food. Food is fresh, hot, tasty and they have all the standard options of appetizers, meals and soups. They have some nice lunch time menu deals give any of them a try when you want a nice sized meal... I end up with leftovers.

Always good, always fresh. Definitely freshest when you pick it up yourself but not stale by any means when ordered for delivery. Huge portions and low prices. The only non buffet Chinese, I eat in town.

Is this the same restaurant it used to be back in 2003? Looks like it is. Amazing food! Always the best taste. Many years after haven’t tried nothing better despite I live on the boarder with China for over 30 years. Good luck and thanks for the answear in advance.
