Terrible customer service. Make fun of costumers in front of them and are generally unprofessional. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a fun night out with friends.

Visited on a Wednesday and enjoyed the (good)boneless wings and had a lot of beer. Prices are very reasonable. I feel it is geared more towards the college crowd, which makes sense, as Lacrosse is a college town.

October 24 2020 -
During the largest Covid outbreak in WI, and La Crosse being one of the largest contributors, Walking back from Riverside up Pearl Street, Brothers Bar was packed. The door man was wearing a mask, kind of, his mouth was covered but his nose was exposed. Social Distance was more like 6mm instead of 6 feet. Businesses, and irresponsible college brats are what is screwing up our economy and the country. Seriously, if everyone could keep it in then pants and cover it up for six weeks. this would all be over. Not just talking the younger generation. I feel, you are all selfish little %$#&$*
Peace Out

Whoa brother I had a great time here. Asked them to play Dance Monkey and they did so that was great. Some lady about my age came over to me and asked if I had any grass and I was able to tell her no...of course not... and was able to tell her why drugs are bad so I was thankful for that opportunity. Great night, great people, great brothers, great moments I will take with me to the grave.

Disgusting how they are handling the Covid pandemic. No masks and no social distancing. For shame!

Brothers is probably the most popular "college bar" in La Crosse. For a college student, this means that it's probably one of the best bars in town. However, for everyone else, it is a crowded mess of mid-tier service at best. But would you expect anything more from a college bar? I don't think so.
The bar has two levels, which are really just two separate bars. Firstly, the main bar is set up like an island, outlined with some tables and chairs. In my opinion, the overall look and decor of the main area is a bit lacking. To me, it almost looks as if you are partying in an Applebee's at times. In the left-hand corner of the bar, there is a stage for people to dance on, which is often packed with kids on good nights. Next to stage is a ramp that leads to the the upper level and more a traditional bar with a line of booths, which are great for taking a break from the main bar area.
Starting at about 10-12 on the weekends, Brothers usually fills up to the absolute brim with kids who have likely been pregaming since 8 or 9 (trust me, I'm usually one of them). Once the bar fills up, it becomes super hard to move through and grab a drink. However, once you do grab a drink, it usually is quite good.
Overall, Brothers works as a bar. However, I don't think it's anything spectacular.

Very reasonably priced bloodies during Oktoberfest. Great for watching sports. This was during the Badger game also.
