I hadnt eaten here in a while so was surprised at the menu variety for such a small diner. The food was excellent! Good friendly service. There was some signs of the pressure of being only one of two diners left in L'Anse that serves sitdown-carpet needed vacuuming and the decor and furniture is worn. Still very grateful they are open.

Went there during LSPR on a rainy, cold, and very early Saturday morning and the omelette I got was just what I needed to soldier on through an otherwise pretty miserable UP fall day. Delicious.

I think we were there during the lunch rush, but it took almost an hour to get our eggs and corned beef hash and toast. Always great food, always welcoming atmosphere.

OK, the atmosphere is a 3. Get over it. It's a diner. Food and service is excellent. The hot roast beef sandwich and the extreme bacon burger were very tasty.

The Night Owl Cafe is one of those lovely small diners that look like they’ve been there forever.
The Hot Beef Sandwich is delicious and the portion huge. My son very much enjoyed his Buffalo Chicken Wrap and had asked to go back before we leave.
The tables could be cleaner and drink refills could be offered.
