Taco Cabana

Taco Cabana has changed several times over the years, but the food quality has remained consistent. The bean and cheese tacos are my favorite. Which reminds me, they sell taco boxes here (I think 10 or 12 tacos in a box) which are great for parties, events or to just be the cool co-worker that feeds everyone tacos. I recently dined in and was disappointed to see the salsa bar no longer existed. You will have to ask for salsa while ordering your food or catch an employee afterwards.

My wife ordered ONE bacon, egg and cheese taco at the counter. Turns out she was supposed to be given a number and told to sit down at one of the tables while waiting. A woman that had ordered two people behind her was given the order number tent that was supposed to go my wife. Employee handed the other woman what ended up being my wife’s one taco, told the employee that she had ordered six tacos, employee rolled his eyes and responded in a frustrated tone that he’d go see about her order. The other woman and my wife sorted out the miscommunication and finally left with her one taco after waiting for almost 20 minutes. All that to say we’ve been to better TCs.

There service STINKS. Went and ordered 2 enchilada plates with drinks . Went to window and they had 1 plate ready wifh no drinks. Window person couldnt understand our order. Repeated 4 times before we left in disgust. Called manager and she was as dingy as the rest. DO NOT eat at Tacocabanna in Kyle. They SUCK!!

First time I've ever had a bad experience at a Taco Cabana. Somehow I must have been inconveniencing the cashier at the window today. She seemed upset that I wanted to add some extra drinks to my order. I told the cashier never mind I will not be purchasing the drinks. I was looking forward to supporting my local Taco Cabana, but I will not be coming back. The drive thru cashier needs to learn a bit more manners before serving customers.

Omitted an item, didn’t make an item correctly (left rice in and dispersed it through the entire salad) and when called they left us on hold; when we called back they aggressively claimed it was too difficult to look up the order’s receipt. They could have answered in any way that wasn’t defensive but they decided to actively lose a customer instead…
