Hive

The positive, I did see a couple burgers come out that actually looked really good but we had stopped in because they were supposed to be a retailer for Stark Juice, a company coincidentally that was located in the same complex but when we got there, none to be found. They indicated they were pressing their own concoction fresh, although I had not seen it on the menu. It was a basic blend containing among other things apples, celery, beets and carrots. Sounded good enough. 2 - 16 oz cups, $21.20...hmmmm... The rest of the menu looked pretty reasonable so this caught me a little off guard. I then watched the server prep everything, without gloves and after just handling my cash - to be fair I am not sure if she had an opportunity to wash or not as she was out of eyesight for a moment. I also watched her cut up an apple, with the label still on and juice it just like that.

Our favorite place in town! We're from NYC and it's the first place we stop when in town visiting family. Truly some of the best food we've ever had. Even with all the world's cuisine at our doorstep in NY, we've not found a place that comes close to Hive. All high quality, local, sustainable ingredients. Paul and Robin are the two nicest humans on the planet and always remember us by name and welcome us with open arms (and treats)! Service from them and the rest of the staff is top notch. Cannot say enough good things about this place. It's nice to find a place that cares about where their food comes from in addition to taking the time to get to know everyone who passes through. You cannot go wrong with the Hive Burger and the Vegan Mac n Cheese. Add a house brewed kefir pop on tap - trust us, you won't regret it!

Friendly and rustic atmosphere and vibes. Excellent example of what vegan options should be like. Loved the home brewed soda, especially as a home brewer myself. Could have used bigger portion options or a combo platter selection of all their creative meals. A bit hard to find but well worth it. Most likely going back when we pick up our puppy!

The meals are made fresh to order with fresh locally grown ingredients. The menu creativety is exceptional and executed to near culinary perfection. The employees are friendly and professional. It is obvious they go above and beyond to the satisfaction of their patrons. Excellent food. Highly recommended!

HIVE cafe has really good food that I usually wouldn’t be able to try anywhere else. Not only is the food good and different, but the inside is really cute too as they have cute tables and string lights inside. They have tons of things to choose from such as CBD and portobello mushroom cheesesteaks which I really liked!

The nicest people and the best food. Prices are entirely reasonable considering the quality of the food (healthy and truly delicious) and the portions (honestly, enormous). We had the Hive veggie burger, which was a delicious house-made patty with the perfect amount of spice. We also ordered the vegan mac and cheese and the server told us it would take awhile longer to make because they were making it from scratch. The wait wasn’t terrible, but still the owner bent over backwards making sure we were happy. So nice to see a happy, bustling place bringing local and veg*n options to the people.
