Betty’s is well-known locally for their fresh, generously portioned, handmade salads, wraps, and soups. We have patronized them for many years and never had a disappointing meal. Workers are generally very friendly and helpful. Their menu is vegetarian friendly and if you have any dietary restrictions they will do their best to accommodate you. They have a selection of prepackaged beverages some of which are also local, or you can try one of their smoothies. Highly recommended!
They have tons of options and are super affordable. I got the portabella pesto wrap and I cannot recommend it enough. One of the only unique places in Kutztown and it’s definitely would recommend trying them out.
A true Kutztown classic that caters to so many dietary needs and never fails to disappoint. Staff is always fantastic too! Whenever someone visits from out of town, this is one of the first places I recommend.
We stopped by at Betty's on the way home from vacation because they have vegetarian and vegan options. It's a little building on the corner of the street with wraps, salads, quesadillas, etc.
I got the burrito wrap with vegan cheese, tofu, black and refried beans, and salsa. It was delicious! The only noticeable thing was there was a little lack of spice/flavor but they had an entire counter full of hot sauces that totally fixed that problem. Other people in my party also had wraps. They come out like chipotle wrapped in paper and man are they heavy!
Wasn't even too pricey either! For four people $37. Were used to paying more for vegan food. I would definitely come back here again if I'm in the area. I could eat burritos like that everyday!
Love coming here when I am in town. The menu is diverse with vegetarian options and the food is always made quickly !
The southwest burrito with chicken is my favorite, but all their food is very good!
I ordered lunch from Betty's today. I called in an order for delivery - being sick at home and needing soup. Although I had a menu at home, I had questions not answered by the menu. The person who answered the phone at Betty's was very patient and helpful explaining what soups and smoothies are available. I settled on a Creamy Italian Herb soup and Strawberry Banana Smoothie. The delivery arrived promptly (the soup was still hot). The soup was absolutely perfect. The smoothie was a soothing healthy treat for my throat. The delivery person was also pleasant and friendly. I recommend Betty's as a healthy option for lunch. I will definitely be ordering from Betty's again myself!
