This place was very cozy and aesthetically pleasing inside. Our waitress was nice and pleasant as well. However, those things don't negate the fact that the food was horrible. My bf and I came here by recommendation, but were sorely disappointed. He got the cowboy burger that was burnt more than he asked. I got the crab melt and it was some of the worst "seafood" I've ever tasted. It had no flavor, and was just mush in my mouth. The texture was all wrong for crab meat. The tomato on my sandwich was yellow and also mush. I ate half of the sandwich before giving up. I let the waitress know it wasn't good, and she apologized. 100% not worth the 36 dollars my boyfriend spent on this meal, especially when we didn't even finish it and left hungry still. That money def could have gone to a place that had good food.

One of our favorites! Took a visiting relative and her friend to dinner. First time for both of them and they loved it! Didn’t make reservations, but we normally do. Not a problem since it was @ 7:30pm and summertime so we didn’t have to worry about college students with visiting parents. I had my usual favorite, the Pagoda salad. Others had the Turkey melt and fries. Wonderful food and great server. Have enjoyed coming here for years.

A little noisy but, hey, it’s a tavern. All I can say is, WOW! The best meal I’ve had in a long time. That list includes fine dining restaurants, famous chef restaurants, etc. The pork shank was perfectly cooked. Fork tender, quality, delicious pork cooked by a real pro, impressive presentation. It came with a generous portion of perfect mashed potatoes. Broccoli was a bit over cooked but I didn’t care. My friend really enjoyed gourmet burger. Worth the trip from anywhere. They brew their own beer there, so that’s a whole nother aspect I didn’t delve into. Service was solid.

Hadn't been in two years, and was craving their wings and blueberry lager. My daughter has a nut allergy and the tavern was happy to accommodate. The beer did not disappoint, most notably the blueberry lager and bourbon stout. Our order of 25 wings was tasty, but not even close to 20. Thankfully, our wonderful server Korysa handled the issue. Looking forward to another trip there soon!

Delicious food! Extensive menu from wings and burgers to full dinners. AND very well versed on options appropriate for a Celiac with many gluten-free choices. Great casual atmosphere. Our new favorite place when we travel.

We went here for lunch after a morning spent at a Kutztown University orientation: clean, very nice wait staff, reasonable prices, and tasty tavern-style burgers, panini, and fries.
Parking (and interior volume) might be difficult during evenings, peak hours, or when school is in session. But it worked out perfectly for us on a Saturday in early June.

First time here on 4/23/22. Great place location. Unfortunately due to my 3 stars I felt like the service was below poor. I asked for a espresso martini and was returned with eye rolling. Unprofessional.
When asked for another beer it was also some kind of attitude, I’m not sure why? But when the check came and tip came all of a sudden it was thank you so much. I’m confused
