Fantastic place and wonderful service. We turned up late on a Tuesday night with a large group and were welcomed by staff and locals alike. Great food and nothing was too much trouble 👍

We had a late start for our Rocky Mountain Park and we came down around 10:30 ish and by the time we found the Grand Old it was 11pm and we were starving! The serve and food was Great! Beautiful sitting area and pretty restrooms! Must visit if your on the hunt for good food!

Overall the place is decent! As I was traveling from Kremling to the hot springs, the building was easy to see. Giant sign that says restaurant. Going inside it is very country and I absolutely love it. I was recommended this place for the bison berger, But they were out and therefore I decided to go with a ribeye steak. The cut was very tender and they got the temperature perfect, not overseasoned, lovely cut, but I will admit there was a LOT of fat on the cut. Helps with flavor and made it melt, but not half bad. The mashed potatoes with gravy were however a bit less than ideal for me - they were very bland in comparison. The gravy did go well with Texas toast. I was also disappointed because I requested the extra garlic shrimp with the steak, but was never brought any... have no way to tell if I was charged for it since on receipt it just says rebeye and market price on the menu... hence the 3 stars on food - mash potatoes and communication being hits. The cookies and cream pie was a lovely end to the meal - admittedly though that more than half was whipped cream, but I am a fan and won't turn that down. Plus 1 star for the food. As for the ping on service, my water went empty halfway through and no refill was offered, but the staff were very happily chatting amongst themselves at the bar. Hence 4 stars - we've all been there, but I was not thrilled. Overall would come back if I am coming through town.

Solid stop to grab lunch or dinner if you're passing through. The staff was friendly. The best part of the atmosphere was the exterior of the building, wish they did a little more to bring that western feel inside. The food was good. Saw the reviews on the French Dip and had to try it. I was not disappointed. The quesadilla and the in-house green chili was solid, especially the chili. Loved the spicy cheese curds and the western fries. The fajita salad was a little less fajita-style than imagined (onions/peppers were uncooked). Good prices though.

Feel the old wild west hospitality. Fried pickles, great burgers, but don't let the secret out about the best cinnamon rolls in the West! They're in limited supply. If you're lucky enough to get one, it'll blow your boots off!

Food was very good! We had the French dip and so delicious! Good au jus and most importantly, in-house-made ranch dressing. Service was good, attentive and friendly. Nice touches around the restaurant- good music, sports on the multiple TV's and some unique decorative items.

Best steak and garlic shrimp in the county. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The place was packed and the staff was stellar. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Home cooking and can’t say enough about the food. 5 diamonds.

Spectacular service, good food. Stopped while traveling through. Got a lot of looks from the locals, I definitely felt like the odd duck out. Will be my go to from Silverthorne to Steamboat if I'm looking for a bite

Was driving thru town and seen the sign painted on the building that said Restaurant. There was parking on the side of the road so I stopped. I am very happy that I did. I was welcomed by my server who told what the special of the day was. And took my drink order. I looked over the menu and settled on the French dip with Swiss cheese, onions and mushrooms. And steamed vegetables. I also ordered a dinner salad. My food came up quickly and it was delicious! I would definitely stop in here again if I get by here.

We had lunch here and it was so delicious that we had to go back for supper!! I got the steak dinner and thought it was pricey but after receiving it-it was sooo worth it! The flavor was AMAZING!! This place is a hidden gem and Ashley was such an awesome waitress! I would tell people to come out here just to try out this place! There definitely isn’t anything like this back home!!
