A great resort restaurant that is known for their breakfast! I’ve had dinner, lunch and breakfast here and wow the breakfast takes the cake! You must try the banana pancakes and pork hash. They are absolutely delicious and you can’t go wrong! For Lunch offerings I would suggest find another place as it’s not as good as their breakfast.
No reservations. We just walked in. The restaurant is beside a pool inside the Koloa Landing Resort.
We ordered the following:
Calamari - crispy and perfectly cooked
Holoholo Burger - they used Wagyu Beef, and tasted very good
Nachos with Kalua Pork - I love this. Plenty of pork
Ahi Sashimi - Fresh tasting so, we ordered a 2nd one
Kiawe Smoked Pork Ribs - ribs were dry and with just so-so taste
Passion fruit with Guava juice - tasted great and very refreshing
Plenty of parking since it’s inside the resort.
Food - 4 star
Service - 3 star
Ambiance - 2 (place too small, and too warm, restaurant is outside so there’s no air conditioner
This was one of our favorite restaurants in Kauai. Great food and service and reasonable price. My husband and I loved our poke bowls and our kids liked their meal too. And the dessert was SO yummy.
This is located so close to the beach and other adorable shopping places! In the heart of the Koloa Landing resort—nestled next to an incredible pool spread— is the Holoholo Grill. The food was incredible, the staff top notch, and the vibe was relaxed and professional. We had a lot of the chicken as well as pork, and it tastes fresh and all natural. I am actually going to book my stay at this hotel next trip because the restaurant was so impressive! The gal who waited on us was so friendly and just incredibly good at her job. I would eat here again in a heartbeat!
A truly unexpected gem! Stopped in only because we were saying at Koloa Landing Resort for a couple days and it's the onsite restaurant, but it was one of the best meals all week! The ono was nicely seasoned and super tender; my only regret is I wish we'd stopped in sooner! Incredible drinks too.
First time eating here and we do not have one bad thing to say. The food and drinks were amazing. The people helping us were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We liked it so much we went back for a second time during the same trip. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
This was our favorite breakfast in the Poipu area. This breakfast is on a resort property. After you park, take the path toward their cabanas and pool and you will find this cafe. We arrived around 7:30am on a Monday and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. I loved the French toast, but I wish they add the option to add on an egg and bacon as opposed to having to order a whole other farm fresh eggs plate. My husband enjoyed his pancakes. Great food, good prices, and good customer service.
We enjoyed our meals and the service was very good. One server in particular always made sure all our waters were always filled which we really appreciated. Burger was thick and juicy. Poke bowl was good but not amazing, it doesn’t need the onion straws and could use some lettuce/greens. Also needed some spice (they were kind enough to bring me some siracha sauce which helped). Generous amount of poke tuna though which was nice!
Holoholo Grill
We had the Green Smoothie which was very good! We sat facing the pool. The breakfast was pretty tasty. My husband had the Avocado Toast, which the avocado was an avocado spread, not a freshly cut and smashed avocado. It was pretty tasty, however it did have a sauce with red pepper flakes which was a bit too hot for me. I had the Surfer Burrito, also pretty tasty although I had a hard time finding the bacon. Other than that I think we might come back for the smoothies. The service was nice, fast and friendly. Aloha
I ordered the avocado toast and it was amazing! The avocados tasted extremely fresh. The food came out relatively quick as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
