The mushroom swiss burger was great, y wife didn't much care for the Cajun chicken sandwich. Fries were very good. Volunbeer was ok but not their product. The menus available were very old and had old prices on them that we still got charged the current price. That was the difference between $8.50 and $11 on some items.
What do you do when you run into an old friend in a new city? Go to lunch together!
She suggested this gem that is near hear place and my brother's new house. There is lots of seating inside and plenty of parking.
They are known for their hamburgers and have some fun options!
Apparently Knoxville is also known for their steamed sandwiches.
What do you do when you can't decide between the two? Order both and split them :)
We got the turkey steamed sandwich with smoked cheddar cheese. It came with a pickle spear and was delicious!
We also go the The Haystack, Topped with hickory smoked bacon, American and provolone cheese and fried onion straws.
The fries were also pretty good.
I would definitely eat here again.
Dare I say, the superior Sam and Andy’s? I had a steamed Turkey and Swiss.
As usual, service was beyond expectations, the ding room attendant was engaged, speaking with obvious regulars and checking on everyone.
Great local, great food, great service.
