I don't even like having to do this, but I also wish I could give 0 stars. I've never had a problem with this location until this evening. My partner and I went through the drive thru on our way to the store. We got two iced drinks. When we got up to the window I paid, everything was fine until the first drink came to me. 1. It was covered with cream, which not a big deal, I was going to wipe it up. 2. I saw it was in two cups for some reason but whatever, but then 3. as I grabbed it to bring into the car I noticed the top was not secured and before I could do anything the whole cup went down all into my car. Coffee and cream everywhere. The person at the window just said she'll get a remake for us, which is fine but we really needed napkins. When they came back with the remake I asked for napkins and they gave us 3....3 napkins. For a whole grande drink to be cleaned up. I asked why it was in two cups in the first place and that the top wasn't secured. The only thing they could say was they didn't make the drink. I didn't care about who made it but more why it came messy and not secured in the first place. I asked if I could just speak to the manager at the time and Kevin came over with about 5 more napkins, which still isn't enough, but to bluntly say it was our fault and then shut the window on us. I drove around to park so my partner and I could clean up the mess. Safe to say we really don't want to return to this location. The image attached is of what the cup looked like even before the drink came crashing down.

I'm not sure why this is the ONLY Starbucks in Knoxville that has an issue doing dark roast pour overs.
Today I go to get my coffee and the girl says "we had to make an Americano because there's no dark roast." I said, "usually they do a pour over." "Oh... is that what you want?"
No Skipper it's not what I want. What I want is to not have to go through this multiple times. Make the drink that I ordered. Simple. Not like you're busy at the moment.

And I love Starbucks But my last visit was trash. Customer service wasn’t there nor the sense of urgency. I place a mobile order Before getting to the restaurant but I still could’ve went to the drive-through and got my drink before the mobile order

Watered down my chai tea right in front of me and was told it was weak because I only got 1 pump of sweetener.

I love the people who work here and they always go out of their way to remember me and make my drinks awesome….IF they are open. That’s the problem- it’s a total crapshoot as to whether they’ll be open during business hours. Zero consistency with their hours from one day to the next or even the same hour! They literally change their hours of operation every single day, but even if they are open they rarely answer the phone so you can’t call first to confirm. Yesterday I passed by at 12:10 returning from a job to my office, saw they were open, get in my truck at the office and took lunch, but by 12:40 when I arrived- NOPE, closed!! Happens all the time now. What kills me is they have this website obviously, and update it for holidays when closed, but don’t bother to take 5 seconds to let you know “hey, don’t waste your lunch break, we’re closed again” the rest of the time.

Me and my husband over the last few weeks have come to this location several times for it to say they are open online and then be closed when we get there. We understand they are probably closed for a reason but an online update would be nice before diving all the way there!

Stiff, borderline rude staff.. my coffee was way over filled, and dripped all over me when it was passed through my car window. The cashier watched it happen and did not offer me a napkin, I had to ask. Overpriced coffee, and took forever. I only stopped because my coffee maker at home is broken 😂
