Knox Dough

Heard of Knox Dough on Instagram and was THRILLED to find a rolled ice cream in Knoxville! The Knoxville Kingston Pike location also has a new pizza in a cone!! Wow what a gem! The pizza was delicious. Some of the best tasting dough I've had. It was a little precarious eating it like an ice cream cone with hot sauce starting to ooze out. There's plenty of delicious cheese and the toppings are a bit of a surprise. A few on top and then a bunch buried in the cone base. Completely worth it! Though it looks small, the pizza is about the same amount you'd get in a personal size at another pizza joint. We shared ours as we already had dinner and it was just right. Definitely let it cool for a minute though. As for the edible cookie dough and the rolled ice cream... YUM! Edible cookie dough is made with heat treated flour so no raw eggs. You can get rolled ice cream with edible cookie dough mixed in then toppings added. One rolled ice cream cup is plenty for two people. Our only suggestion is that the fun color changing spoons are a bit flimsy to eat the ice cream with. Was afraid that we'd end up flipping ice cream out on the ground lol. I will be eagerly awaiting our return to Knox Dough. They certainly made our night "dough-licious" !!

First time here and let me tell you the place itself is beautiful and CLEAN! The bathroom is also super clean. They have beautiful decor and the service is amazing. When I walked in I was asked if I had been there before and since it was my first time I got a break down of all the different types of desserts they offer, they even let me sample some cookie dough! They make you feel welcoming and the cookie dough taste amazing. Super happy I found this place on accident and have it a try. My boyfriend and I both had the rolled ice cream and he couldn’t wait for me to take the picture, lol but overall by far the best combo of customer service and cookie dough.

Love the new location. Rolled ice cream is delicious. Cookie dough is good. Tried the new pizza cones. They are good, but there is a 10-15 min wait for cook time, and then they come out molten hot. No way to sit them down to let them cool without contents spilling out. Good idea, just need some kind of cone holder to set them in while they cool. Would visit more often if drive thru or online order with curbside pick-up was available.

The cookie dough was pretty good, and I realize it's made without eggs or flour (I think that's what they said), but it had a really strange texture, in my opinion. One of my companions got some rolled into ice cream, and that fixed the texture problem, but it still wasn't my favorite taste. I do think it's more of a personal thing, but I just want to let everyone know that, if you're used to traditional cookie dough, this will be a different experience. Still fine, but go in with those expectations. =]
