Hard Knox Pizza

First time trying this place, and I’m not disappointed. The atmosphere is welcoming to any age group. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food, which is why you are here or contemplating going, is phenomenal. Best wood fired pizza in Knoxville. It’s rare you eat pizza and don’t feel bloated. There wasn’t a drop of grease on either of my pies. I will def be back to try the different variants! The rocky top is mouthwatering!!

Great pizza! Great vibe! Fantastic service! The pizzas offered are unique and give a nod to the local culture while also presenting fantastic flavor profiles. Their drinks options (alcohol) is pretty good too, including a local cider being on tap! The wood fired pizza is amazing, and I highly recommend trying the specials. The last one we had was the Cuban. It was fantastic! 🍕

I am not great at writing reviews lol but this place deserves my best try. The pizza was delicious! The crust is soft, chewy and delicious. The sauce is perfect! Not too thick, not too thin, not too tart and not too sweet. The toppings were fresh and perfect. Now the service, the service was amazing! I ordered what I thought was a pizza with pepperoini,, the pizza type my son wanted. The pizza I actually ordered came out and it was just cheese. I asked about it and explained I meant to order the other one but it's cool, my kid will occasionally cheese, it my fault so no worries. Well, no surprise my son didn't like it, it was more of a margarita pizza. I went up to the counter to order him another pizza, and the server told me that the cook already had the pepperoni pizza in the oven cause he felt bad. My heart about exploded. I offered to pay for the new pizza but they refused. This place is great, the staff is awesome and the pizza really is delicious, thought so before I had to order a new pizza!! Please go here, it's worth it.

Good but super expensive. We got a large Rocky Balboa and cheesy bread. We thought it would feed our family of four since our girls (6&7) don't eat very much. However, the large is 12" and my husband could have eaten the entire thing by himself. I only ended up getting 1 slice of pizza and ate a couple pieces of cheese bread. My girls basically split the cheesy bread and were still hungry. It was over $30 for the 12" pizza and some cheese bread. The pizza tasted fine although the cheese literally melted off the pizza onto the plate and you had to pick it up and put it back on every time you tried to pick up a piece of pizza off the tray. Because of the cheese melting off I deducted a star. Overall I would give this place 3.5 stars since I was still hungry when I left but after putting the cheese back on my one slice it was decent. I would not recommend going often unless wood fired pizza is really your jam or you have a ton of money. It's just not worth it when my family likes pizza from other places for half the price. We ended up going to another pizza place to get a cheaper large pizza to fill us up and had some leftovers for dinner another day from there.

Been coming here for about 3 years and love it. Probably the best pizza in Knoxville. But the prices have skyrocketed. Came here tonight and it was 75 bucks for 2 12 inch pizzas, 2 beers, a soda, and a salad. 15 bucks for the salad alone. They forgot one of our pizzas and it took a while to be made. Customer service and the food is great, just don’t think it’s worth the money anymore.

We stopped in here for pizza on the way back home to SC and are very happy we did! Jeff, Jerrod and company made us feel welcome right when we walked in and the pizza came out super fast. Best pizza we’ve had in a long time - try the “Barbed Wire” pie - so good. Local beers were fantastic too. Check this place out if you can!
