So glad that this place is getting cleaned up and moving forward. The food is very good and the servers are very nice. The place is very old school which is great, but needs a few updates (which is actively being worked on).

Fantastic experience. Small local family owned restaurant. Portions were perfect, service was phenomenal, quality was fantastic. Honestly not at all what I expected but will stop by again. If you want home cooked quality, small town diner experience, at a very reasonable price, stop in. Lots of choices.

Nice restaurant, very clean and friendly place to go to eat. I would not recommend the children sandwich. A frozen piece of chicken on a bun. Fries are extra!

Food was tasty, atmosphere is interesting. For those who have been around with this place for years, I'm sure they like the blast from they past, but I feel it needs some updates and improvements.

The crispiest tastiest fries I ever had in a restaurant. Their double decker poor boy burger was excellent. Service was a tad slow at first but she was great.

I got the shrimp basket, and it was three short of the amount the menu said was in it. The grease should have been drained a little more. But the fries were delicious. The service was ok, and the atmosphere was a 50's setting. It's a good place to get a bite to eat.

Love to have found The Cadet. Their food is great, tastes homemade and the prices are very fair. Really enjoying the pancakes and sausage patties lately. Be sure to try the pies! They never disappoint.
