Nanas One Love Resaurant

Came into this place at random- my husband happened to notice the sign (a Jamaican flag and the word "Restaurant") as we drove down the road. We went in for a late lunch, and this place was great! I had the Ox Tail, rice and cabbage. The cabbage was steamed and lightly salted, the rice had a small amount of pinto beans mixed in, and was was mildly spicy and very flavorful. The ox tail fell off the bone. It's a fatty cut of meat by nature, but unlike some, Nana's didn't simply roast it and let the marbling do the work. I believe these had been slow-cooked in beef gravy. It had a great savory flavor, and the portion was generous. My husband had the same sides, but went with the jerk chicken. Again, spicy, flavorful, and a generous portion. Moreover, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.
