Went here on a Thursday and it was busy. Had a group of five with an appetite. Upon pulling up you could smell that good smoke from the parking lot. Two people got the full rack of ribs. They both took home left overs and complimented on how juicy and flavorful it was. Two got the brisket, which had a good smoke ring and very juicy. The last person got the sausage. Everyone endorsed what they are and said would be back again. If you in the mood for some could BBQ, you have to get here. It will not disappoint.
Looked for a good BBQ place in Orlando and found a fabulous one. I have been to the best BBQ places in Texas and this rates right up there with the best. Black’s , Lockhart’s and Hard 8.
Great BBQ! This is a food gem in the Orlando area! Fun atmosphere, fast service (don't let the line fool you), perfectly cooked meats, and tasty southern sides.
We have visited most 4 Rivers locations in town and every one serves as THE BEST barbecue restaurants in the state! The brisket is always done perfectly right. Today we ordered the brisket dinner with a mix of lean and moist meat with 3 sides; baked beans, bread pudding and potato salad and we also ordered a smoked chicken salad with tomato vinaigrette dressing. The chicken was so flavorful there was no need to use the dressing. Friendly staff and a beautiful dessert case are a feature of this and every other 4 Rivers locations. Life is so much better with a Texas style barbecue run by good people. John Rivers has done great things with his restaurants and great things for the communities they serve.

We went right before noon. The food was really good. The coleslaw tasted amazing. Everything was fresh. Our server was really nice. Food came out really quick.
Absolutely love this 4rivers. We visited from the UK and our last visit was six years ago, and it was SO amazing. The staff were so kind and friendly (Christina was listed on the receipt and her sister served us - she was especially lovely!) and the food was incredible. Really generous portions and everything was delicious. Will be returning before we leave :-) thank you guys!
This place never misses 💯 food is always delicious whether you’re dining in or takeout. Brisket is best around.
Father-in-law wanted BBQ so we tried 4 Rivers Smokehouse by The Loop. We got (2) Happy Herds to feed 7 people. Plenty left over to take home. It allowed us to try all the meat options. I personally liked side options corn, green beans, smoked beans and corn bread were all on point. Fresh, delicious and didn’t taste like they had been in steam table for long. We also added a 1/2 rack of ribs, when I return I will be getting ribs. They were fall off the bone and not over seasoned. The restaurant, patio and bathrooms were all immaculate. Staff was helpful.
I also like that you serve yourself for drinks so no waiting and they have all the Togo boxes and containers out so you can box up left overs and head out. If your shopping at the Loop worth a stop.
The ribs, greens and beans were excellent. The bread pudding was not so good. I really was hoping it would be good. I think it had been sitting in a warmer to long and dried out. Bread pudding is suppose to be moist… But I will go back for the “greens and ribs” they were delicious.
Great food and taste. The pulled pork was ok, the brisket was excellent. I wasn’t that amused about the Texas sausage. MacNCheese was great! Great prices too.
Always good food and great service, I received a free cupcake for being pregnant which I think is so great not many places do anything like this. I gave 4 stars because in the to go area two chairs were upside down in the middle of the walkway and I nearly tripped and had to move them out the way besides that everything is great as always
The food was ok but not over the top. You need sauces and / or pepper + salt for most of the meat. But its absolutely ok for the pricing.But I can absolutely recommend the BBQ Beans. They are one of the best bbq beans I have ever eaten!

Ok, when I was in Texas, I said Smoke Shack was the best BBQ I've ever had. I recant that statement. Don't get me wrong, Smoke Shack is gooooooooood, and you will leave fully satisfied, BUT I forgot about 4 Rivers. I live in Ohio. I hadn't been to 4 Rivers since pre-Covid, so I forgot how amazing it is.
4 Rivers is located in Orlando. We used to visit Orlando 2x a year & 4 Rivers was always on the list. You want good food, fall off the bone ribs, meat on to of meat ribs, smooth, delicious pulled pork, & house-made sauce that tops it off to perfection? Go here! The side items are ok, but who cares when the meat will have you thank whatever higher power you serve profusely.
We dug in so quickly that I forgot to get pics. We ate so much that we couldn't even walk with our backs straight. We ordered some ribs to go, and I remembered that pic.
Listen, go to Orlando and do all the tourist stuff, but then do some self-care and go eat at 4 Rivers!!!
