Possibly the best Waffle House I’ve ever been to. “Table for three is read,” as Kendrick’s friendly energy welcomes you as you walk in and keeps you feeling good about yourself all they way until you are in your car. I have never been in this Waffle House but they treated us like old customers. Everyone there was vibing. Jeni was our waitress and offered to fill up Togo cups for us. Very nice! Food was great as always. I had my go-to Texas bacon and egg sandwich with hash browns smothered, covered, diced and peppered. Sandwich was perfection. You can never go wrong at WH. Bathrooms were very clean. I may have to make this a regular stop on my way.
Hands down the best WH experience I’ve ever had. We ordered ahead and went inside to pick it up, but it wasn’t quite ready. The hostess (black male) was so nice and asked us to give them a few minutes. I looked around and noticed how clean and organized it appeared in comparison to other locations. We got the food after a few minutes and it was banging!!! Def stopping here for future road trips! This is how you serve customers! 10/10
Kinston’s Waffle House is definitely of my favorites of all the ones I have been to (well over 50). Everyone there is extremely nice and are the embodiment of great customer service.
Well, it's a Waffle house. It was clean, the staff was very nice and my food came out promptly. Nothing crazy happened during my experience at this location. Only strange thing is that it is a really big location but it has way less seating than any Waffle House I've ever been in. Very peculiar. Not bad but interesting.
Upon entering we were greeted by an older gentleman, who was obviously a host. I have been to many Waffle House restaurants all over the country and this was a first! He was pleasant and apologetic that there was not a table ready immediately, he got us drinks while waited, as soon as a table was open, he quickly cleared and whipped it down so we could be seated. Then he introduced our waitress. I thought he was done after that, no he was watching each table and making sure coffee and water was full and getting whatever anyone needed. He greeted every customer(group of customers) that entered the restaurant and he opened the door for everyone as they were leaving all this with a smile. I am definitely to be making this a restaurant that I visit frequently.

The place was super packed but we patiently waited and I also let the elderly couple go in front of us. Didn't have it in my heart to let them wait. Staff was very pleased to see us let others go in front of us knowing we were first. The food was so fresh and our waiter was just so sweet.
Staff is always great. Food is normally awesome as well. Kendrick greeting everyone that walks in is the absolute best. He literally makes the experience at this place. "I got your table reeeaaadddyyy!"
Sunday 9/24/23 around 10 am. A wonderful group of people working together. Wife loved her waffle and I can never pass up their hashbrowns. Glad we stopped.
Kendrick brings the vibes and makes this place a waffle HOME. Whoever hired him needs a reward. I want to lift him up and cover him with soft blankets and shower him in confetti and cookies. Kendrick is the man. So glad I came in today just to meet your host. Wow. More impressed than words can say. Food was great. Employee all very kind. Kendrick is an awesome employee.He needs a raise. He goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. If we travel this way again we will definitely stop back by to see him.
