Great pizza excellent service location close to ferry service and the view was awesome !!
Delicious pizza and a great atmosphere! They had some fun card games that visitors could play while waiting for their food. Also seemed very family friendly (lots of games for kids). Would definitely eat here again!
Went here for takeout while waiting for the ferry. It's nice to see the owner (I'm pretty sure it was the owner) working the dinner rush. The prices are slightly more expensive than I hoped for but the service was very good. the wait time was decent but I didn't mind waiting since I had no rush to get back to the ferry. Nice place to dine in, lots of beer and soda options. The food was good! The chicken wings were on the small side, and I was hoping that the sauce would be tossed on the wings instead of on the side, but the way they did it made for a cleaner wing eating experience. The pizza was very thick, cheesy and satisfying. I would caution you that there is quite a lot of rosemary on top so if you're not into that you'd probably have to tell them "no seasoning". I'd definitely go here again if I was back in the ferry line in the future!
A friend and I shared a pizza and thoughly enjoyed it. We also ordered wings, they were more like nuggets than wings, still tasty, but a little disorienting. The meat pizza was everything you want, meaty, cheesy and a nicely balanced crust. Whether you are waiting for a ferry, looking for dine-in experience, or delivery, this is a great option.
Went here while waiting for the ferry and was so happy to learn they had vegan options! The regular dough is vegan, as well as the cauliflower I believe. I got the regular dough with vegan cheese, along with other toppings and red sauce, and it was the BEST vegan pizza I’ve ever had!! Also, friendly staff and my pizza came out very fast! Wish I could attach a picture, it was amazing!
Great place! Ordered a calzone to split between two people and it was amazing, can’t wait to go here again.
Easily had some of the best pizza crust I have ever had, maybe even one of the best in Washington. I Ordered thin crust and cauliflower crust pizzas, after trying each (both of them were excellent) I initially thought they had switched the order by accident. After praising the crusts to the owner, I was informed that, to my surprise, they were exact to the order. The cauliflower crust was thicker, crunchier and somehow doughier than many pizzas I’ve had. The thin crust was almost like the toppings were on one giant tuille.
It was obvious that the owner truly loves his restaurant as he bent over backwards to make sure everything ran perfectly. Checking on everyone (as well as dropping everything to quickly fulfill the request of a patron), helping out his employees with everything, and casually conversing with patrons all while creating a family-style experience throughout the restaurant.
If you ever find yourself visiting, or just waiting for the ferry in Kingston. Westside Pizza is a “must-visit” for anyone who likes stellar crust with their pizza.
The staff is super friendly and kind. They took time to chat with customers. Their pizzas are so good from fresh baked. There are chairs to sit outside with good view of the town. Good beer too. Will come back whenever we head that way for sure.
