Planned on eating at the Beekman Arms where we were staying. Was told the resturant was closed only a few options for take out. A very nice person sitting in the lobby said they had the same experience and recommended the 15 min. drive to Kingston. So glad we did. Great old building, great food, beautiful fire in the fireplace. Everything we were hoping for. We will go back again!

Fascinating venue - nearly 350 years old. Exceptional and friendly service eclipsed only by the food. My daughter loves the extra crispy curly fries and the burgers (and beer) is perfect 👌

Nice little tavern with lots of historic pieces incorporated within the restaurant. Staff was attentive and super friendly. Food was great and came out pretty quickly.

Old Stone house. Good varied menu. Small cozy bar. And those fireplaces!
The largest is still woodburning.

Very lovely outdoor seatings. Indoor seatings are spaced out too do you can appreciate the historical stone house. Our seafood is excellent!!

Was able to squeeze us in on a very busy socially distanced night. Nothing was overcooked. Steak an poivre was cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing. Fresh spinach was also done to perfection. Very cool building. 5/5 would recommend.

Excellent locale, best steak sandwich I've ever had. Kind of confused as to why a place with this kind of charm serves quesadillas alongside french onion soup but I guess it holds true to being a legitimate "tavern".
