Rainbow Diner

The food doesn’t taste very good and the smell of old building doesn’t help. We ordered biscuits and gravy, country fried steak, chorizo burrito and corned beef hash. — all luke warm and no flavor. The dr.pepper tasted awful and got a coffee instead which wasn’t very good either. Nice lady serving us though.

Rainbow is my family's go to place. Been a customer for years. The ladys that work here are awesome and the food is way better than Denny's. Less greasy than Denny's. Everything is home made even the gravy for biscuits and gravy. If you like an old fashion meal this place is it. They are only open tell 1pm. But, Man their food is the best.

Absolutely horrific food, I would never eat here or recommend this place to anyone. I ordered biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were all gummy, not sure they were even cooked through, they were flat as a pancake. The gravy still had a raw flour taste to it, with no sausage or sausage flavoring and very runny. Most disgusting thing to eat, which I did not. I ended up leaving and going to Mr. D's., I should just stick to the tried and true places.

Every day at Rainbow is a special day, but if you are in the Kingman area before 2 pm on Sundays, you have to come try the Mexican food. I ordered the chile relleno with beans. First they brought us the salsa and chips. The salsa is homemade and tasty, all though I would have liked a little more heat. The chili relleno was wonderful. The beans... yummy. Howard had the chili Verde chimichanga. It was delicious. Howard had the rice and he loved it. We come here often for breakfast and I love their chili. They are open for breakfast and lunch only. Be there are be square. One of Kingman AZ hidden gems.
