From someone coming from the Restraunt industry we traveled 3 1/2 hours on a business trip after another early morning business trip that am! We had an issue with lodging and this place was our walk through advice through it all!!! What an amazing front of the house manager/hostess Alex was! She helped in every way possible! Upon arrival Will was a gem! He literally made us feel at home as we were far away from our “home” Restraunt! Once he found out we were the ones with lodging issues he engaged in great conversation with us! Alex explained everything they accommodate at the Restraunt even before knowing we were in the industry! The food was amazing and fast! The meatballs were delicious! The chopped salad that Will had his kitchen so nicely split in two for sharing! And the NY strip was melt in your mouth! We struggled with asking about dessert as I knew they were getting ready to close and he had not one issue with this! The s’mores blew us out of the world! We wish we had something as cool at our Restraunt! We commend the staff here and as it sounds they have nothing more than an amazing owner to lead them in the right direction! I highly recommend this Restraunt!
Amazig place, clean, ample parking, interactive staff. Tasty food. Its an upscale environment, prices are high but the quality they provide its worth. Enjoyed our time we spent there.
The Foundry was excellent! The staff was friendly and efficient. The wait time was less than anticipated. The food was delicious. We loved the special salmon and crab ravioli. The s’mores dessert was fun! My only issue was that when I called a week ago to make a reservation, I was told they only take reservations for 10 or more, but that we would have no problem waking in on a Wednesday to celebrate a birthday. When we showed up on that Wednesday, they were closed. I understand schedules change, but I would suggest calling the day of to double check their schedule.
With good music and good food, this is a good place to go after all day skiing.
The prices can be a little on the higher end but I think this is probably one of the restaurants I liked the best around the area. Food wise our apps and entrees we're really good. I highly recommend getting the pork belly appetizer. It was nicely seared and a light coating of maple.
They also had live music starting around 6 I think which is nice to listen to while eating.
Visiting out of state and wanted to have a nice anniversary dinner/night out. We stumbled across this place and when I say it was EXACTLY what my husband and I were looking for we had such a GREAT experience, the staff was super friendly & professional the food,signature drinks and desserts were AMAZING!!!.We even got to meet the chef. We DEFINITELY RECOMMEND giving THE FOUNDRY AT SUMMIT POND a visit. You won't be disappointed.
Just an overall fantastic experience, from the entrees, wine selection, and dessert to staff knowledge of the menu and willingness to help.
I went here on a date recently and our server really went above and beyond helping us pair a wine with our meal and even bringing samples before we decided on a bottle. Given the opportunity to visit again, I would love to do so.
Recommended to us by a local, The Foundry is definitely a must go. Always listen to locals, they know what they are talking about. The 28 oz porter house was juicy and delicious. The staff is courteous and friendly. It has a rustic ambiance.
It's beautiful and can accommodate lots of people. There's outdoor seating. They have craft beer and cocktails. People brought their small children, but I didn't see a children's menu. I had the duck and while it was of high quality the portion was small. It was cooked medium-rare. The beverage menu is in a heavy binding, almost like a book. This place is pricey.
Excellent evening at The Foundry. The yelp app was inaccurate and there was a 25 minute wait out by the pond. There are benches to sit on if you are so lucky. We got the burger and it ranked in the top 5 I have ever had. Yes it was that good. Dark and stormy was also excellent. The inside has a cool vibe and the wait staff were also great. I highly recommend this establishment 😁
Beautiful and romantic restaurant with a lovely view. Limited vegetarian options but the food was tasty and the service was good. A little on the expensive side - like most restaurants in the area. Great ambiance - perfect for a date night!
