Kejun Aroma

My husband got really really sick from bad shrimp Thursday night.. I had catfish and fried rice with chicken in it. My husband had catfish and fried rice with shrimp in his. This was the only thing he had eaten all day..I was fine but later that evening he started to get sick. Up all night and missed work the next day. The only thing different with his plate from mine was the shrimp. I went back The next day to let them know. They told me everything was cooked fresh but I don't know about that one. It'll be a minute before we eat here again.

Was left wishing I had ordered more! This place is amazing in terms of the taste of the food and great customer service. Being from the boot, I am extremely picky when it comes to cajun/creole eateries because many restaurants claiming to be cajun/creole imitate and cannot duplicate the authentic Louisiana taste in many dishes. This Kajun Aroma blew me away after tasting a bite of each of the items on my plate. Everything tasted amazing and seasoned just perfectly! The red beans were bomb...seasoned and tasted just as they are in Louisiana. They were not creole style (for those of you who know the difference), but they were excellent! I just wish they sold corn bread or hush puppies to go with them. The potato salad was great and the fish was perfect...tender, seasoned, and filleted just right! I hope this Kejun Aroma gets more notoriety! It's a nice, quiet spot to dine in or take on the go. This has to be one of my favorites in the Killeen area. Please check them out in the Airport Plaza on S. Clear Creek between Mohawk Rd and Stan Schlueter if you are in the Killeen area. If you are like me, you will not be disappointed!👍👍👍The authentic taste made me forget about the cornbread or hush puppies I wished I had to go with my beans.☺

Absolutely amazing food, comes to the table hot and fresh. Delightful atmosphere. The catfish was delicious and I’m not even a big fan of fish. I’d post a photo but I ate everything before I could even take a picture. Best red beans and rice I’ve had even in Louisiana. Looking forward to coming back. Staff was very welcoming and greeted and introduced themselves including the chef!

The chicken is ALWAYS seasoned to perfection, hot, & cooked fresh per order. I have tried every side except the beans and rice & can't decide which is my favorite. The price is very affordable for the quality & amount of food you are given. I order at least once a week now this is one of my favorite spots to eat at!

Food was good. Took a while to make but it was fresh so it was ok. This is not considered a fast food restaurant. It is cooked to order. I got the fried chicken wings with some yams. I got a free drink because they ran out of yams. Not bad. They did have to take may card and make a phone call with the number to make the charge go through. I thought that was weird. So, bring cash if you come.
