I got 1 carnita and 1 barbacoa and they were bigger than expected. The two tacos got me full. This is a good Mexican restaurant!

This place ... the people are so nice, very helpful and very welcoming. The portions are right on and they even have selections for those who are a bit picky. The tortillas were soft and hot! They have a huge variety of toppers to choose from as well.
They have a fresh meat section there with some pretty good cuts of meat and a great selection all the way down to goat.
Bakery items in one corner and there is a nice smoothie/drink bar stacked with fresh fruits ready to be blended.

We had very fresh, tasty breakfast tacos made to order! It was nice to pick up some fresh produce and tortillas for later and we would have bought marinated chicken if we'd had a cooler on board. We will be back!

We loved Mercado Azteca. We came at the end of the day and got their taco buffet. They gave us as many tortillas as we wanted and we could pick any meat. I don’t know the Spanish names, but we loved the shredded beef, chicken, and the fajita meat. They gave my boys a free banana and the fajita meat wasn’t on the buffet but they gave it to us because it was the end of the night. Nice people and yummy food!

A hidden gem, this store has a nice offering of freshly made Mexican food. I ordered two pork carnitas tacos and the pork was cooked to perfection. You add the sauce, onions, cilantro yourself. Reasonably priced meal. Highly recommend!

Come here! Eat here! Real Mexican tacos and more made by real Mexican grand mothers! Delicious delicious! Also meat Market has BBQ packs or all sizes and types of meat. Clean, quick, Orderly. This place is awesome

Awesome traditional Mexican food near Fort Hood...New owners, but keeping the same staff pretty much. Their sweetbread(baked goods) and meat market are the best in the area. We are long time residents here and have been coming here through many owners...Still a great place....
