Firehouse Subs

Ordered online……3 sandwiches alike. Asked for no jalapeños……guess what I got? Jalapeños. My aunt said her sandwich had them as well…..I’m annoyed. The sandwich is good, but if I ask for something I’m paying for, I expect to get just that. Unacceptable. Shouldn’t have to pick off something I asked not to be there in the first place.

The Killeen store is an absolute disgrace!! My mother and I went for lunch, my mother being a veteran firefighter and myself being an Army veteran, the employees were rude, in a hurry to get back to their phones, socialize with their friends standing at the counter and did not even let me finish customizing my own sandwich! My mother’s sub was missing ingredients. Absolutely horrible experience!!

I gave you a 2 star because I will not going back there. As you can see the lids did not fit and it spilled out. The soda lids were taped down. The bowl of potato soup was the same size as the cup of chicken soup. My wife's steak and cheese was very salty. Missing 1 mac n cheese. The new chicken gyro sandwich was missing the feta cheese and sliced cucumber. When my wife got there the food was not ready by the time it said it would be done. Here was 1 man working. My wife saw a female not doing anything.

While the cashier was polite, two customers came in after my order. I'm guessing they were regulars as she had short conversation with both before her and her co worker began on both their orders and served them, which left me waiting an additional wait time for my own order to be done. After they gave me a free drink as to say "thanks for being a good sport". The food was good.

I've always loved Firehouse Subs, Subway doesn't stand a chance. They have the best melt in your mouth sandwiches and all fresh ingredients on soft bread with a slight crunch. My wife tried half of my sandwich for the first time yesterday and loved it! Now it has become one of our weekly options for date night during the week.

Worst firehouse sub I’ve ever been to. In California I can walk in to ANY firehouse sub and know it’s going to be delicious! I prefer them over subway easily. Last week I wish I hadn’t, subway was just up a LITTLE further 😩 I wish I would’ve known. I walked in to FS and the 3 servers behind the counter just stared at us walk in, up to the counter to the person who was working the cash register, and did not say one word to me. No greeting, no inquiry if I’ve ever even been here before, nothing just literal blank stares. When the woman behind us with her family was up at the counter the server asked her what she wanted to order and the woman said she still needed a little more time to look at the menu. The server then let out a big *sigh* for the whole establishment to hear and rolled her eyes at her. Being someone who has worked in the customer service industry for almost 20 years, I was disgusted. And the food we received showed that also. Poor presentation, and the food seemed rushed, and not toasted like normal. Horrible representation of the Firehouse Sub brand. Please re train your workers, and take more care/pride in this establishment
