Looks like they did a partial redesign of the interior in the last couple of years unless I'm mistaken. Not a fan of the decor but maybe im just nostalgic. Still a great place for lunch or dinner.

This place was highly recommended & for very good reason! Best lo mein noodles I've ever had. Me & my husband both usually add shrimp or duck sauce but we both agreed the flavor is perfect on its own! Crab rangoons were really good!
We stopped by and placed an order to-go, was told it would be about a 40 minute wait but it was ready sooner. Super friendly service, we will definitely be back!

We travel a lot and always look for Thai food while away. I order coconut curry with chicken almost every time. Thai room was amazing! They ask how much spice you want and season accordingly. Make sure you know how hot mild and medium are and err on the side of bland, always with Thai food. They nailed it. Perfect blends of flavor. Our server was attentive and a pleasure. Thanks for a great experience.

Quite a pleasant little restaurant in strip mall. In Nags Head. Everyone pleasant and helpful. Staff worked as a team. Food was fantastic! As others have said, large portions, fresh and delicious! Had the Pangang Curry... So good with layers of flavors. Husband had the Thai special... Loved it! Eager to return!

There's a sign in the bar that asks patrons to " please be patient;" if you are, then your patience will be rewarded with a fantastic dining experience!
We took a family of five (2 vegetarians) to dinner and had great Thai food with something for every palette in our group.
From savory, spicy appetizers to large (but not oversized!) dinner portions with an array of tastes and spice levels, we highly recommend The Thai Room in Kill Devil Hills!

Order ahead with estimate pickup time 1 hour, and waited another 35 minutes. Yes, that’s super busy on the Memorial Day weekend, the kitchen is in heavy load, they even stop accepting dine-ins. well, back to the foods, they are great, very tasty and my family loves them! Five stars!

This is probably one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to. I’m a huge fan of spicy food and when you ask for “hot” or “Thai hot” here they actually deliver. Even though I asked for this level of spice it didn’t kill the flavor. We ordered the papaya salad, masaman curry, and drunken noodles. Everything was amazing!

The portion sizes are huge. So, if you have a smaller appetite like me, just share your meals with your friends or family. Pad Thai and dumplings were great, the curry was okayish. They also have vegetarian options to choose from.

Best Thai food I have ever had. A wonderful, peaceful, place that does it so well that I'm not sure how it could be improved on. I had Massamun Curry, which is a very generous portion in a beautiful bowl, made with overnight marinated beef that is out of this world. Huge amounts of fork tender beef and delicious and perfectly balanced seasonings. Some of the best service I have seen.
