So incredibly delicious! Their chai is hard to beat & Harpreet puts so much love into them... You can taste it all, no joke!
Delicious Chicken Curry My sons first time eating Indian food and he LOVES it. Awesome Customer Service... Very Sweet Woman whom helped me So happy to have them here in Haiku!
Loved the vegan and gluten-free Masala Dosas and Chutney followed by Sambhar for lunch today.
The best indian eats anywhere. Love this place and everybody that works there!

How could I have lived on Maui all these years and not known about this food truck until I read about it in this week's MauiTime? I grew up in a North meets South Indian household, and all the items we tried today were delicious and authentic. Our girls loved the chicken curry ("should've gotten more, mom") and samosas, and the korma was my favorite. My only other comment is that you all should serve other areas of the island as well :)
So glad to have this on Maui.. The dosa's are delicious!
Ok people check this place out in Haiku it's awesome .
Good food and nice people!
I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The masala dosa was really good and authentic. The korma tasted great too
The only downside was the portion size was smaller compared to mainland but I would definitely visit again
PS: the samosas n the imli chutney was great too
I love that Satrang has delicious vegan options!! I crave them. I can taste the love in every bite! Not only does this food taste scrumptious, it always leaves me feeling very loved and appreciated! Thank you for sharing your love for the world through your food! It taste and feels amazing!
Indian food cart in the south maui nursery area in Kihei. Beautiful location. You can walk through or sit in the nursery during their business hours. Customer service was great. Food was great. I did not want rice with my chicken curry plate and they replaced rice with plain dosa. That was wonderful suggestion since I like dipping. The filled dosas and samosas were great as well. Strongly recommend tamarind chutney with these items. We visited this place twice in one week. Thank you
I got a masala Dosa and regular Dosa with chutney. Did not have the usual spice level I am used to but I know they have to cater to many palettes being in a tourist area. It still had the classic dosa and coconut chuntney taste I have come to love. One masala Dosa would likely not be enough for an average person but the two was perfect. Came in around $16 which I think is totally reasonable for the area and what you'll be paying at most restaurants.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! The food here is insanely good and most of it is Gluten free!!!! I usually always get the chicken curry plate with a plain dosa on the side. Also the lemon rice is so good I wish I could get an entire plate of it! I highly recommend.
During our relaxing vacation in Maui, we came across Satarang, an Indian food truck. It was a pleasant surprise to find South Indian cuisine in the area. The food was tasty, but the truck was quite busy. We advise against going during late hours as the food tends to run out quickly. Unfortunately, we missed out on it twice. Nonetheless, we recommend trying the Dosa and Sambar.
Every experience I've had with Satrang is has been amazing. The food and service are both excellent. The menu is very accommodating, with options that cater to just about everyone's style of eating and it's all delicious. Hands down my favorite dosa anywhere. Being set in a beautiful garden adds a uniquely interesting and beautiful element to the ambiance of this lovely food truck.

High quality and so tasty!
The service at Statrand is always prompt and full of Aloha.
Everything is so fresh! We really enjoy eating in the tropical Kihei Foos Oasis. The grounds are epic and they have live music most nights!!
I just had the classic South Indian plate which includes a masala dosa, coconut curry and sambar. It was extremely good, healthy, flavorful. Definitely plan to return!
How is this place not rated 5 stars! It is my favorite food truck and one of my favorite food spots on maui. The consistency in food quality, and how delicious every bite! We sure love this food truck. I can’t say enough good things about the vegetable korma and the masala dosas. The naan bread is so fresh and savory! Truly the best I’ve ever had! Menu is somewhat small but that just means they’ve perfected the dishes they offer. I love satrang! You will too!
For Indians: it’s not your usual spice level but definitely has the right amount of flavor to do the job, dosa sambar and chutney were full of flavor and were piping hot, lemon rice could be little more flavorful
For Non Indians, enjoy the awesome food, it’s amazing!
There are rest rooms just opposite to the food truck.
We were fortunate to find this place on our recent trip to Maui. The food was very authentic and flavorful. I grabbed a few things for lunch for the kids while I was out running errands. The kids loved the dosa so much they wanted more for dinner. My mother in law also tried some of the kids food and asked for some for herself. We were very pleased with the food. The service was excellent as well. We will certainly return here on our future trips to Maui.
Good (probably only) place to get some south Indian food in Kihei area. Masala dosa was good but lemon rice was a bit bland.
My favorite Indian food in Maui!!! Dosas and Sambar are absolutely delicious!!
Great service, beautiful area!
Fresh and tasty food! Clean place. Sweet people. Sambar and coconut chutney tasted yum! awesome lassi. a must visit in haiku if you’re a foodie too :)
I highly recommend satrang. The food was so fresh, delicious and flavorful without the extra chili peppers or oils. The service was excellent and the husband-wife team were friendly and down to earth. They are both passionate about what they do and put their heart out in the food they serve! If you are in Maui and looking for some authentic home style food with with love, passion, and deliciousness, then please do try this place.
We went to this place for dinner. It’s a food truck located in the South Maui gardens . Very beautiful and bustling with music, food and people . We ordered Masala dosa with chutney and Veg koorma plate with Naan. The Masala dosa could have been crispier but this is a very authentic tasting masala dosa I have tasted in a restaurant . Highly recommend . The koorma has non traditional veggies and tasted average. The naan tastes nothing like naan . Perhaps because it’s difficult to have a tandoor inside a food truck kitchen. They were soft and fluffy . There is scope for improvement. The curry plate was filling with the lemon rice accompaniment . Overall it was a good experience . I would recommend this place if you are in Maui .
I loved my dish, vegetable koorma plate. It was vegetarian, curry like, with a chickpea salad on the side and yogurt dressing in a little container.
Service was very friendly and quite fast. The couple in that food truck seem to love their job and their food.
Next time I go to Kihei, I'll get a mango lassie from them.
