Kyas Italian Ice

This is my favorite beach near Kihei. Parking is free, a porta potty does it's job, and the snorkeling on either point is pretty cool. We saw turtles on the south end. You just have to be careful of the lava rocks and hitting the coral (we were safe on both accounts), and you will be treated with great sights. Boogie boarding is also fun. It's also very little used, so hardly ever a crowd. What's not to love?

Amazingly beautiful beach! Publicly accessible from small parking lots along the main road. The sand in particular feels soft, and the color is contrasted with the dark lava rock. With great views of nearby islands, this is a killer spot for pics at sunset. There were three family photo shoots and two weddings just during the hour-plus visit.

Wow, just WOW. A quiet low key beach with amazing soft red sand. Very few rocks and let me tell you some of the best snorkeling I have ever done!!! Tons of fish, all different sizes. And best part is the Turtles. So many turtles. No experience or guide or money, and I was swimming in beautiful coral and fish and turtles EVERYWHERE!!! Almost empty beach with a decent parking lot. Easy access

Beech was so amazing.. seen a couple of sea turtles swimming by us... That was really nice to see.... Beach was not crowded at all ... Many trees to get some shade of you don't like being in the sun or just simply forgot your umbrella plenty of shade.... Water was really warm.... Didn't have to struggle like in Los Angeles were water is freezing.... Beautiful beach must see if in Maui....
