Wow, I felt kind of guilty about liking this place so much! I have been craving oxtail for a while but not so much that I'll cook it. So I tried going to a Jamaican spot, who told me they don't serve it. Decided to give Mos a try, since it's still Black Caribbean style. I've never had Haitian style oxtail and I say everything about my food was amazing. Tender meat, delicious, soft rice and peas. Now I want to go back for the goat. Flavor was amazing. I definitely tried to eat every bite. I'm so stuffed. Edit: I came back for the goat and dined in this time. Great atmosphere, amazing vibes, delicious food!!!!! Please come and check it out, you don't be disappointed.

Awesome food! You can taste the quality of homemade style Caribbean style. I ordered the Creole Shrimp Pasta and my wife ordered the Oxtail with Rice & Veggies. Both were really good and highly recommended. If only the atmosphere for dinning-in was better but you can't go with the quality of food and their incredible prices as well.

Had the Pork Red Beans and Rice. Huge serving. Glad I was sharing it with my wife. It was delicious. Pumpkin pie was made different than I was used to, it was great

We were in the keys for a week and this was easily the best food we've eaten the whole trip. It's stupid how goes the ribeye and roast chicken were. If we come back to key west this is a must visit. Come hungry

We chose to grace Mo's Restaurant during our honeymoon getaway to Key West, and I must say, it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Tucked in the vibrant streets of Key West, Mo's is a haven for anyone looking to delve into authentic Haitian cuisine. As we stepped into the restaurant on a tranquil Monday evening, the inviting atmosphere instantly caught our attention. The staff, particularly our server, were not only professional but extremely friendly and personable, making us feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the food. We kicked off our culinary journey with a serving of fried plantains, a classic Haitian appetizer. The plantains were fried to perfection, a wonderful amalgamation of crispiness and flavor that set the bar high for the main course to come. For the main course, we settled on the snapper fish, a decision we didn't regret. The portion was generous, to say the least, allowing both of us to share and still have some left to take away. The snapper was cooked to perfection, retaining a freshness that spoke volumes of the quality of ingredients Mo's uses. The melding of spices and textures was nothing short of a celebration of Haitian culinary excellence on a plate. What added to the charm of the evening was the realization that the portions were large enough for us to share, and yet we had some delicious leftovers to enjoy later. This gesture of generosity in portion size echoed the warmth and welcoming nature we experienced throughout our visit. In summary, Mo's Restaurant wasn't just a dining experience, but a delightful journey into the rich and vibrant world of Haitian cuisine. It stands as a testament to not only great food but exemplary service and a warm, inviting ambiance. Whether you're on a romantic getaway or just in the mood for some soulful food, Mo's should be on your must-visit list when in Key West. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience to add to our honeymoon memories. From the bottom of our hearts, we recommend Mo's to everyone looking to enrich their palate with authentic Haitian flavors coupled with heartwarming hospitality.

Outstanding Carribean cuisine! The restaurant is not very glamorous and the service could be a bit more motivated, but who cares when they serve such amazing food. We had shrimps creole and a phenomenal seafood ragu. Every bite an explosion of flavor and the seafood cooked to perfection. That's pure happiness. I wish I had restaurants like this back home! Prices are high, but the portions are huge - we didn't make it and took the rest home satisfied. So, leave Duval Street behind and go for this place!

I am thoroughly convinced any negative ratings are from a disgruntled high school girlfriend or a competing restaurant. This place was phenomenal. Each bite exploded with creole taste beyond our expectations. Be patient, your dish is being cooked from scratch - do not be in a rush. Portions are large, come hungry. Couldn't recommend this place more. We will definitely be back.

Food was costly but again it is key west but the portions were much larger. wish they had more dessert options but oh well

Amazing creole style food. Amazing flavors. Best rice and beans ever. I knew it was going to be good when I walked inside and saw the hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, which I've found often correlates with some of the best meals. You come here for the food, not the decor. This a great place to come when you just want a really delicious hearty meal.

How have we not found this place before?!?! Mo's is, simply put, incredible! The escargot was tender and delicious. The Caribbean chicken MELTS in your mouth, and the sauteed veggies and potatoes were full of flavor and cooked to complete perfection. I cannot give Mo's enough compliments! One piece of advice, tho, is be prepared to wait. In no way is this a derogatory statement!! Just make sure you're on island time 😉 and willing to patiently give Mo time to work his magic. Relax, enjoy the chill vibe, and then savor that which is Mo's obvious calling. Thank you, Mo, for a meal worth remembering and recommending! We will be back, and we will bring many friends!!
