Great Dock me and my friend just went there 2 launch a boat. Great ramp plenty of space 2 turn around.
It is a quiet place in the winter, my dog and I walked the docks, and the public bathrooms and dock office was open while I was there during the daylight hours. There is a concrete boat ramp, and floating well maintained docks. The back drop of the bay is also pleasing to the eyes. Attendant in the convenience dock shop was also kind. They also sell alcohol, bevs, and other odds and ends stuff.
We launched here for our salmon fishing excursion. Nice area with plenty of amenities
I can't say too much about the marina itself, other than it had very acceptable restrooms. We were there to hop on a Seahawk (inflatable boat similar to a Zodiac) for a wildlife cruise and rainforest hike.
There were 10 of us plus an experienced captain and naturalist. We had an excellent whale watching experience, and saw several eagles and and an eagle nest. We stopped at a small island where, to my surprise, there was a ladder so we could easily disembark onto the black rock beach. The hike was mostly along a narrow boardwalk. Very beautiful and impressive. When we got back to the beach we enjoyed a campfire, hot beverages, crackers, cheese, and salmon spread. It was SO pleasant!
I stopped here as part of an excursion on board the Celebrity Millennium. This facility seems very nice and was well maintained. We used the bathroom and got our safety vests on us before heading out. I would have no concerns about coming back.
Great view and good place to launch a boat
Everything you might expect at this awesome spot. Fishing, ice, coffee, lures and plenty of parking. Definitely worth a trip down the road.
Also, might catch some sea lions or whales bubble feeding in this area.
