I’ve been waiting to return to Ketchikan to go to Burger Queen, and finally today I am back and this is one of my first stops. Currently they only have outdoor service, order from window and take away or eat at one of the two picnic tables. The burgers are great here, the wait is worth it. There was no line when I ordered and it took about 12 minutes for my order to be ready. Not bad considering last time I was here two years ago it was about 30 minute wait. I got the barbecue cheeseburger which has cheddar, bacon and bbq sauce. It was amazing, as expected. I don’t know what they do to make the burger so good here! It’s a very small nondescript place, you would not expect something so good out of a place that looks like this!
Being a crew member for 14 years, travelled to so many places and tried lot of food. As a burger lover, this place is number one so far!!! A level better than Five Guys burger! Seattle burger and onion rings must try !
The queen has been in ketchikan for ever. Great burgers. Used to be a food truck but the government here stopped allowing food trucks on the island so she bought a corner lot and struck up business. And she has done very good. Some time in the late 70s early 80s.
A cruise ship crew recommended this restaurant to me. He told me most of their staff come here when ship docks. so I decided to give it a try and I was glad I did. My friends told me the burger was delicious. I really loved my fish and chips. It was cooked just right and the batter was crispy. The fries were golden and crispy. It took a bit of time before we got our orders, but it was worth the wait. It's a small little restaurant with just a few tables and a few seats outside. Very decent prices. I really enjoyed this restaurant!
Top quality burgers, and in conjunction with a great bar that’s not an overpriced tourist trap. Genuinely amazing, and always a large selection.
Food can be a bit slow here but nobody cares and there's a really good reason, the burgers are broiled over actual charcoal and they taste AWESOME! Definitely worth any wait. Arguably the best burger on the island. There are many tasty things on the menu, something for everybody pretty much, but I never got past the burger. The fries are a very worthy addition to the basket and they rule in their own rite. You won't be sorry.
