Huddle House

This location closes at 2pm due to understaffing issues. I usually will take my 3yr old daughter in the mornings for a daddy, daughter breakfast every now and then. I have received DECENT service from the morning ladies. Although that being said today showed up with my son, daughter and a friend at 1:30pm. We were told that we would not be served. I stated that we were there well before 2pm having driven forand not serving us would most likely cause them to loose customers. Didn't seem to matter to the waitress.

This is absolutely the worst Huddle House on the planet. Not much in this pig pen they call Kermit accessible to truck drivers. This place is always closed or is closing when I walk up. Today its 2pm thats right 2pm sometimes its 4pm or 6pm. I will never plan to even try eating here again. If you travel south to Monahans there is a Huddle house thats much better and keeps consistent hours.

Just had breakfast with a friend after working all night. Waitress was very polite, attentive, and on top of her stuff regardless having to working the morning shift on a holiday. She was the only waitress on duty but our drinks stayed filled and she made sure to keep checking on us. I used to manage in food service and i know good workers are hard to come by. She did an amazing job. Food was good and was served in a timely manner. It's hard to find an enjoyable experience at a restaurant in the oil patch. Keep up the good.work.

Is a nice place but the wait is like an hour, they take their time before your food comes out. The Male restroom is small, only one sink and urinals. Is not that clean. Is not pricey. Cons: Small sitting area, the waiting time Is like forever, if you are hungry, this is not a place to be because is slow here. They do not have enough workers to make the food. Due to that this area is an oil field city, their is a lot of traffic here. I ended up not eating here, because of the wait. I do not recommend anyone if you are hungry or can't wait for your one hour food to come out. The kitchen is small.

Had dinner at the Kermit, TX, Huddle House this evening. Stacy and Kevin made my day by genuinely expressing their appreciation for me coming in. They didn't realize the smiles & small talk was exactly what I needed after 12 hour shift doing the oilfield grind. The prime rib tips were juicey and so much better than I had originally anticipated. Waffles are the reason I stop at Huddle House but so glad I tried the limited time special. If you are ever in Kermit stop by and enjoy a town favorite! I will be back!
