Holy hell I absolutely loved everything about this place. I was amazed at the environment and just how fresh off the boat the place feels. Our server was beyond excellent and just the cream of the crop. But the best part was the food I was stuck on stupid with the simplicity of the food yet the ancestors in my heart told me it was perfect bwahahaha can’t wait to go again

Found this restaurant simply by browsing Google maps, and my wife and I decided on a whim to go here, even though we had no reservation. Upon getting there and being able to sit right away, I was impressed for the following reasons: 1. Atmosphere of the restaurant: I really liked the atmosphere of this restaurant. It's dimly lit, but in a very nice way, it feels rustic, and lends itself to spend a long time sitting and chatting. 2. Food was wonderful! The bread was fresh and very soft and tasty, and so was the garlic butter. The lentil soup I had tasted heavenly, and the main course pasta (I forgot which one I had) was just delicious, with the right combination of salt salt and umami from the meat sauce. 3. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. I was surprised at the price of both our full-course meals, especially considering I was expecting to pay significantly more than that. 4. Staff was amazing. The server we had was attentive, polite, and was even gracious enough to help my wife practice her English, which I appreciated a lot. The server was checking frequently to make sure our drinks were topped off, and that the food was to our liking. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants that I have visited in a looong time, which for us felt extra special, given that it was our first date night since having our first baby five months ago.

We did not have reservations, but they got us in. Sat on the patio with a little background music and with the most attentive server. The food was top-notch and enough for two more people, but we still got a cannoli to go. 😁 The wine list is extensive with Italian and Washington wines. We Will Be Back.
