Been to a lot of breweries, this one probably just isn’t for me. The beer is decent. The service was pretty lacking. You have to order at the bar even if at a table. Was unclear what the process was. Additionally, beer is just OK. Wings were terrible. Soggy and soaked in a sauce that was way too much spice with an overall lack of any other flavor - It definitely affected the taste of the beer too. Some people like it being a basement / dungeon atmosphere. I honestly didn’t. The place is fine if you’re in the area but certainly not a must visit brewery.

The atmosphere is really great. It doesn't take itself.too seriously but you understand where you are and why you're there. The beer is just amazing. You can't go wrong with anything you order to drink. The food is equally high caliber. If I lived close enough this would be an almost daily stop for me. If you are anywhere close it's absolutely worth stopping in and checking it out.

It was Father’s Day weekend and a restaurant down the street denied our group entry because we had kids with us. But fortunately we stumbled upon this gem! Clean, spacious and I liked their ordering system (order and pay at the bar). Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We ordered their smash burger, beef empanadas, cilantro wings - all very good! Even my picky toddler loved their wings and our husbands loved their beers! Also a kind woman (I think one of the owners), even brought out some coloring books and crayons for the kids. Thank you so much for a perfect Father’s Day!

We’ve tried so many times to love KBC. When my wife and I moved here 5+ years ago it quickly became a regular spot. After a few short months we realized we must have gotten lucky the first few times. The beers are excellent, the food is usually good, but the service? Nope. The attitude from the male owner gives an air of nothing else in the world mattering but him. The place could be packed or empty, and his lack of attention to anyone except the ‘regulars’ is awfully apparent. We’ve sat at an empty bar and watched the bartender chat up the owners, while patrons are desperate to just get a beer. They have great music, we used to go Friday’s once a month to see one our favorite bands play- but, eventually the lack of service and owners attitude was so off putting we said enough is enough. If I suggest we go back occasionally to my wife- she’s says never again. Just so others are aware, this isn’t an isolated thing. We’ve been here more than 30 times and the vibe is consistent. What a shame that one or two people are keeping this place from being epic.

Amazing atmosphere, family owned and involved and in site PLUS the food is OUTSTANDING! I even met and complimented the Chef. The rice bowl is phenomenal and the Smash Burger will have you drooling. Great live music tonight with the Traditions at Longwood Band. Jazz and beer. Great place!

Really cool location, tucked away of the main strip in Kennett. Plenty of space inside and a cozy feeling about it, very pub-esque. The beer was pretty good, real liked the Vermont IPA and the English Copper Mild. The food was reasonable but a bit pricey for my taste. The bartenders were nice but for as quiet as it was when I visited I would've liked for them to have been more attentive, both of the guys were friendly but seemed....I don't know...bored? The merch seemed really cool but they had almost nothing in my size, maybe next time. They also host a running club on Thursdays so I'll definitely be back to check that out!

The atmosphere here is very unique. Basement, clubhouse feel with lots of eye candy on the walls. The beers i tried were very good, and described well. The menu was small but the dishes were tasty. The French Onion soup was good, but a little bland. The KBC burger was cooked to perfection and was very satisfying. Great place to hang and listen to live music.

There are a lot of great things about this place. They had live music when we arrived, and the place was packed. We got the susquehanimal beers and if you like sour beers, it was very good. We also ordered fried pickles, the mushroom soup and the beet salad. The food was good EXCEPT for the beet salad. There was half of a yellow beet scattered on top of a pile of arugula. The beet was hard and tasted strange. I love beet salads and this was a sad excuse for a beet salad. Service is also sub par. Could use some training on customer service and handling customer concerns. But, if you are looking for a good beer with live music, this place has a pretty good vibe, just avoid a salad and don't expect much and you will walk away happy.
