Stopped in here for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. The menu features some great seasonal but funky offerings like truffle Mac and cheese. The pizzas are cooked perfectly and feature a light and airy and crispy crust. Hope to be back soon to try some of their other dishes.

I gave it five stars because this is hands-down the best gluten-free pizza that I have ever had. Most cross are soggy or not crispy. This one was very crispy and the toppings delicious

The food here was delicious! We ordered a bunch of different kinds of food to try a little bit of each. Here's we ordered and our thoughts.
Old Fashioned - my husband ordered this and he said it was pretty good except for was too sweet.
Appetizers:
The SOVANA "MEZZE"- chic pea hummus, grilled baby carrots & asparagus, preserved artichokes, house made pita....
Thoughts- this dish specifically is what caused the loss of a star. We are thinking "grilled veggies" like the menu said. What you actually get is tempura style deep fried carrots and instead of asparagus it's zucchini. Now was this good? Yes, but the description is misleading.
EGGPLANT TART
tomato conserva, basil, locatelli cheese
Reminded us of an eggplant lasagna. A tad bit on the sweet side. Don't think I would order this next time.
BREAD BOARD
rosemary & fennel seed foccocia, olive oil, roasted garlic, calabrian chili and tomato "jam"
We enjoyed this bread and the jams.
CHOPPED ROMAINE CAESAR
fermented- garlic crusted croutons, shaved parmesan
My husband really enjoyed his Caesar salad. The very large slice of thin crispy bread on top was so good!
HARISSA ROASTED BEETS
arugula, radicchio, spiced walnuts, roasted fennel & pistachio goat cheese "truffles", blood orange-ginger vinaigrette.
Really enjoyed the salad! I would get it again
FUNGO EPICO wood fired pizza
roasted wild mushrooms, fontina, thyme, arugula, black truffle vinaigrette
If you like mushrooms get this! The combination with the taste of truffles on this pizza makes it absolutely delicious.
*** THE BEST FOR LAST***
CINNAMON ROLL BREAD PUDDING
philly cream cheese gelato, whiskey soaked pecan crumble
This was our absolute favorite dessert we have had!! You can't go wrong with Philadelphia cream cheese gelato and whiskey soaked bread. So bad but soooo good!!
All around it would definitely come back here again and try other items on the menu. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

We were excited to try this restaurant. I'm sorry to say, it did not live up to the hype. From the appetizers to the main course, the food we received was not worth the premium charged. At the price charged here, this should be the best food you've ever had. There are better places to eat nearby that won't cost you $250 for 2 people. (To be fair, we each had 2 drinks.)

Sovana did a fantastic job with the renovation following the fire. The restaurant feels much more open and with a clean modern feel. Great knowledgeable staff and everything is local and made from scratch. The menu is limited and encourages shareable items. The wild boar tagliatelle was a hit, as are the brick oven pizzas. The bread pudding dessert is highly recommended. Worth the drive to Kennett for dinner.

Went for a late lunch and had the marvelous Kathleen as our waitress. We’re accommodated with seating in the terrace for good ventilation. Quiet side table. Had the chicken salad club sandwich with fruit in the bread. Delicious! And Kathleen allowed me to substitute the lunch salad for the chips! My favorite! Had a great time!
