Perera Cuban Cafe

Hands down the BEST Cuban food I’ve ever had. And the service was exceptional. The owner clearly loves what he does. He gave me and my mom samples of his soup while he made our sandwiches. The soup was to die for-chunks of pork and slices of corn on the cob. It was incredibly flavorful. As good as it was, it couldn’t compare to the yellow rice, black beans and sandwich. We ate until we nearly burst. I’d recommend this spot all day long. Go check it out. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

This is one of those places food lovers get excited about finding. It doesn't look like much from the outside or decor, but the food is amazing and you can watch everything get assembled with care. This is probably the best Cuban I've had in the area. The fried sea bass is also great. And the prices are really low for the quality and quantity of food you get.

Highly recommended! I was craving a Cuban sandwich and googled a few restaurants near me to choose from. When this popped up, the reviews were outstanding so I gave it a shot and it's the best decision I've made! The owner, Fausto, was very polite and generous. He made us feel at home and maintained great conversation. He went on to say he's been in business for 16 years, being in Orlando, Tampa, and now St. Pete. The Cuban sandwich was scrumptious, made fresh. Plantains weren't greasy or soggy, the Spanish rice had amazing flavor, cuban soup was very tasty and the coffee was perfectly poprpotioned. Hands down was a great experience and will definitely be revisiting.
