Local Burger

We will not return again. Let down after spending almost $70 for a family of 4. The Local Burger was the most awful burger we ever had , we threw out a $14.99 burger which doesn’t come with fries. It wasn’t cooked well done as we requested and tasted like lighter fluid. I am unsure if it was just us as people were eating the burgers. This was our first time here so maybe it was worth the $ before. I will say the fries were good however you can get good fries in many locations in Keene like Fitz. The chicken was so-so. We wouldn’t recommend here to anyone we liked. It was also a very long wait which I understand as staff looked like they are working hard and the place was busy. So everyone was eating at different times. It never fun to share negative review.

We walked in 10 till close (we were on the road traveling up the coast) we asked if it was ok to order still and we were greeted with such kindness. Even the cooks were over the top polite! Food: Mac and cheese bites with chipotle ketchup- OUT OF THIS WORLD yummy. The ketchup was the best sauce I have ever had. A small order of deliciously thick sweet potato wedges were heavenly served with MAPLE MAYONNAISE. (The portion size was great for sharing!) Again, I say.. best dip ever. The Buffalo chicken wrap was gigantic! Classic taste, not too spicy. And my bf ordered the chicken tenders. Absolutely incredible batter. We were so pleased with with everything we ate. And equally as pleased with the people there!!! We decided we will always detour through Keene so we can eat here.

I've gone to lunch twice in the past year, once sitting outside & the other inside. I found the service to be fast, friendly & with a well kept clean environment. Both seating options are accommodating, offering high rise seating and standard table height. You may be wondering why I knocked a star off, because I would like to see the menu provide another option with the chicken ceaser wrap not that it was not delicious it definitely is, only that when watching my sugar levels a plain chicken would be a nice addition. I will be returning for a third time the price is right and the food is quality.
