This place is excellent. It was our third visit. In the past I've had the Navajo burger, which is outstanding. This time I opted for something a bit more modest, the green chili cheeseburger, followed by frybread a la mode. Both the burger and the dessert were first-rate.
We make this trip every year from CANADA and it NEVER lets me down... Best food I have ever eaten.
Friendly staff... Makes us feel like family
.I love this place and recommend it to you and your family.
This place may seem deceiving from the outside but is definitely worth a stop! The food was flavorful. The taquitos had the most flavorful and spicy cream sauce. The best part was that we had our dog with us on our trip and they were so accommodating and allowed us to sit on their patio so we could have our dog with us and not in the hot car. They were nice and great food. If you happen to be passing through definitely stop here!
This is a fabulous small restaurant. There is not much in town and I am so glad that we found Amigo Cafe. The staff is super friendly. A busy restaurant that knows how to handle the guests. All of the food that we had was delicious, not too spicy, just right. I highly recommend you stop here if you’re passing through this part of the Arizona.
The coffee here is great. Loved the buzzy bee latte. Also nice ambiance. The mango habanero limonata needed more of a spicy kick. And the quesadilla was way too thin...had barely any filling. As others noted, the Navajo taco looked spectacular but was mostly a can of beans dumped on top of a thin layer of ground beef.
I am very surprised on how the place and food has changed and improved. Robert Irvine has really done his job 👍🏼. Would definitely recommend.
The Three Sisters Burrito was phenomenal! We didn’t know what to expect as we were traveling through the area and were so happy to have found this place. Highly recommend it!
Awesome Navajo Mexican restaurant. The Elote dip served with pork cracklins that are still popping is amazing. Staff was super friendly. Can't wait to go back.
Stoped in because everything was closing. So glad I did. The staff was super friendly the food was underpriced, the potions were huge [I couldn't finish mine].The Navajo taco was awesome. (Get the red salsa. It's super good and homemade.)
Absolutely a must stop. A bit non-descript on the outside and then you walk into a gorgeous little cafe/restaurant tastefully decorated. I’ve been so terrified by the COVID protocols of almost all restaurants on this road trip through Southern Utah and into Arizona, but Amigos required masks in, hand sanitizer, contact tracing list, and temp check. Yes! Service was immaculate — so very helpful and friendly (Thanks, Heather!). Food came out quick, and was SO delicious. Super reasonable prices for decent and very tasty portions. They even kindly whipped up some off-menu grilled jalapeño for me. Towards the end of the meal, we were so tickled to find they were also a coffee bar! After traveling through the middle of the desert with little but tumble weeds for the last week, this city girl was happy to find a dirty golden latte! Better coffees than many of our best inner-city roasters.
